Joshua Tree is by far one of the best albums ever imo. So many bangers ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I’m not going to sugarcoat my feelings on U2: I think they’re the greatest modern rock band from 1980 onward. Their catalogue is massive and diverse, ever-changing. They make music for all moods. They’re incredible live. No one even touches them.

I haven’t seen anybody do a U2 rabbit hole. I think I’m here for it.

Bono at his vocal prime is one of the greatest singers to ever live.

My favorite video ever is U2 Where the Streets Have No Name

When U2 set out they agreed to split everything equally 5 ways. The four in the band and their manager, It didn't matter who wrote the song etc it was all equal.
45 years later they are still together and still talking to each other.

Ok, if you're doing U2, you have to do Sunday Bloody Sunday. My family is Irish, some still over there, and that song pulls at my heartstrings

Such a deep rabbit hole with U2. Lyrics filled with spiritual undertones that’s right up your alley. I would recommend One, Where The Street’s Have No Name, Pride (In The Name Of Love), The Unforgettable Fire, New Year’s Day, Sunday Bloody Sunday, just to name a few.

This whole album The Joshua Tree is outstanding as is The Unforgattable Fire

I was stationed in Germany back in 1982, a bunch of the guys were going into town to hear some group from Ireland. I didn't feel well so I didn't go with them. They came back raving about this band and had a tape from the album Boy. I listened to it and was blown away, so the next night I went and for the first time saw U2 in a little club, in a little town in West Germany.

For even younger U2, see their set at Live Aid, the performance that was their first big worldwide attention-getter.

Most iconic breakup song played for the most iconic on-screen breakup between Ross and Rachel on Friends

U2 Super Bowl halftime show after 9/11  All about America and Bono honors America in this one.  Best halftime show ever

People give U2 crap and I don’t understand it.  One of the best bands ever!

U2 has been releasing stuff for 45 years now. This track was the lead single from their biggest album “The Joshua Tree” in 1987.

The Joshua Tree album got me through college nursing school, one of my favorite bands and one of my children’s

Bono is big into civil rights. Check out their song Pride(In The Name of Love) about Martin Luther King Jr. and also people who died during peaceful protest during the civil rights movement in the US. And their song.sunday Bloody Sunday which is about what is called the troubles in Northern Ireland in 1972 when British troops fired on unarmed protesters in the town of dairy northern Ireland. These are really awesome songs.

“The Joshua Tree” is definitely one of my desert island discs.

Pride (In The Name Of Love) - u2.  BP this was a huge U2 song dedicated to MLK.  Great lyrics and amazing song. Love to see you react to it!  W or Without U launched U2 from great into the stratosphere in the late 80s.

1987 is when the Joshua Tree came out and won album of the year Grammy and With or without you went to #1 in '87
