WE WONT LET THEM TAKE THIS AWAY FROM US AGAIN

Damn, imagine being pissed about being the second wife only to find out that you're actually the third wife.

Fun fact: in the novel which the show is based on, Jonasi does die of HIV, but instead of a Machiavellian scheme by Joyce, it’s just a random chance encounter, which imo makes Jonasi more of a victim of his own choices

I hate that his son ended up becoming like him, but I also respect the creators for making that decision. It would be a miracle if he escaped unscathed/unchanged in that environment.

I feel like Joyce feeling sick but not being pregnant is her body knowing she shouldn’t be around that man. Like her nervous system was going haywire or sumn.

of course AI programmes are puritanical on top of being racist and sexist, who could have seen this coming....

I can't  get over the fact that all these women fought over this absolute troll of a man

What I need to know is how many hours Jonasi has in a day because he is BUSY

What’s so messed up is Jonasi doesn’t even buy a new home for him and Matipa, he just moves them into him and Joyce’s first marital home😭

They really showed the two outcomes of abuse: you either break the cycle or you become exactly like them. Pume worked to break it, Menzi is repeating it.

Dear YouTube, this is the most safe, educational, and modest video on the platform. Don’t you dare touch it.

One thing i noticed and believe is Menzi had always been like Jonasi he just hadnt gotten the confidence. All along he was ok with how his dad was treating his mom, saying we should reapect him until his dad slept with Lindani. Mpume on the other hand was calling out J because of the hurt he was causing the mum.

Honestly, Menzi pissed me off cause had he accepted Lindani’s numerous literal and passive rejections, he wouldn’t have gotten caught up. Rejection is protection

The fact that Jonasi wasn't found strung up like the doctor in American Mary is crazy. He was abusing ppl with basically no consequences for wayyy to long!

I’ve commented this on the previous video. For context: Ministers in South Africa are heads of government, not churches. Like how y’all have secretaries of state- it’s the EXACT same thing. And big companies get contracts with government sometimes to do public service-  like constructing  public buildings/structures/roads etc.
That’s why the minister being on good terms with Jonasi matters - these government contracts are 7 figure contracts. And if Jonasi plays with Joyce’s influencer money, she’ll play with his construction money.

You know, usually when people say someone is the devil, they are exaggerating.....

But this man is ACTUALLY the devil☠️☠️

YouTube trifling because I’m pretty sure that sponsor has featured on the channel before

I'm willing to bet the strike thing is actually that they were trying to save face because their AI fucked up and just scrambled to find an excuse with the sponsor

The patriarchy is strong in this family
