DONT EVER APOLOGISE FOR SPENDING TIME WITH YOUR FAMILY! Respectable people get it.

That last letter is soul crushing. You know if he read it, he would realize there is more than anger and despair for his lost partners, and that he had to look out for himself.

Luke AFB, Just Outside Of Phoenix, Is Named After Frank Luke!!

FNG= Fucking new guy.
Sorry for the f-bomb.
Hahaha

You can tell it was hard for nick to read that letter and the end. It would be hard for me too, without being teary eyes.

I watched this when FE first posted it and again now.  That ending hit hard both times!

My dad spent all of his free time with me and my brother growing up, all that time means more to me than anything else in my life. The hobbies i picked up from him are half of my life and love everything about it. Don't ever put this channel before your kid, there is no need to apologize. They will love you for it one day. They all grow up and understand what you've done for them if you give them the time. Much appreciated the video.

Nick left out. Phoenix Arizona has Luke Air Force Base. Named after him

Bro the letter from his mom I’m crying that’s just crushing dude holy

22:55 FYI there hasn't been a US Air Force Ace since 1972 in the Vietnam War.

An affidavit is a legal document that basically says I promise this thing is factual. Lying on an affidavit is a federal crime. Basically this man said "you're going to swear you saw me take the balloon down on the pain of jail time."

25:00 there was a Bar in the ERB Red Baron vs Simo Hayha about the guns shooting through the propeller.

My grandpa was a beast by 15. He was 6 foot 3 inches and weighed about 180lbs, and didn't take crap from anyone. At 15 he beat the ever loving crap out of his 27 year old brother in-law. My auntie (20) showed up at the family home one day with a black eye and busted lip because her husband beat her.

My grandpa took his father's Plymouth, went to the construction site where his brother in-law was working, and proceeded to beat him. Grandpa then threw him into the car and drove him to the hospital. Before he kicked him out of the car grandpa said these exact words. "Next time you will be brought to the hospital in a cloth wrap (what was used before body bags) if you ever lay a hand on my sister or any other woman again!" "Also, you better sign the divorce papers and leave everything to my sister."

In the 1940 women pretty much lost everything when they divorced. However, when my auntie got divorced her (ex) husband signed over the house to her and she kept the $3,000 that was in the bank. $3,000 in the 1940s would be about $70,000 today.

Again, my grandpa was a beast!

Family is number 1. Nothing but respect. That said, glad you're back!!

F.N.G. fucking new guy.

The interruption device is something we got from the germans. Before that we had metal triangles attached to the back of the propeller to deflect the bullets away from the prop or, we put them on top of the plane above the prop.

20:30 you are correct FNG = Fuckin New Guy

We ain't going anywhere man, hang out with your family! That's dope. Happy New Year Boss!

25:00 The interrupter was first fielded by the Germans.
It led to what became known as the 'Focker Scourge' July 1915-mid 1916.
Prior to that the machineguns where mounted on top of the wing. Forcing the pilot to shoot higher or lower than their visual center point.

A video recorded on my birthday is crazy and it’s my favorite fat electrician video too it’s like a present

I'm sure someone has already said it but yes FNG is f**** new guy
