It's funny that this resembles the "recite me all the kings and their hands" punishment that Cersei gives to Tommen in Feast.

My object permanence was so horrid while watching this. I kept waiting for Ned Stark and was going crazy thinking how you could justify him being "that high" lmao

short-selling Mace's custom Handthrone.  Tremendous sight gag and I never forgave the show for not including it.

Where is Unwin's much more competent brother, Unlose?

The Westerosi Liz Truss is an incredible intro, one tried to blow up a city, one blew up peoples pensions

I love the fact that Rogar gets a higher placement due to his coup taking place way before Jaehaerys went all Rome on us with the roads, lmao. This has been a great video.

Oh man I totally missed the “Septon Murmisson is probably a decent bloke” line & I gotta DEBUNK that statement. Aenys wanted to help Maegors first wife Ceryse Hightower’s fertility (unknowing that Maegor was shooting blanks) so he asked Septon Murmisson for an assist on it. The lore says that every night he had this “ritual” where he rubs his hands all over Ceryse & “prays” for her to be able to have a baby, but apparently Ceryse wasn’t feeling it & put a stop to it bc it’s alleged that “good Murmisson” started rubbing his hands in other specific places that are essential in baby making & it’s implied that he took some unchill liberties down there lmao. Aenys was so stupidly oblivious, he didn’t understand why she didn’t want that dudes hands rubbing all over her anymore. I’ve always found Aenys line about“my good Murmisson” hilarious. So in short, “good” Septon Murmisson = absolute creep.

Having Barristan beat Ned, who was Hand for about a year (and in my view had no real choice about starting the war), seems a bit harsh on the old Edster

The Lucas Lothston one is possibly worse too because there was none zero chance that the daughter he brought along with his wife was actually King Aegon’s own daughter.

I wonder how Ned’s handship would’ve gone if the whole incest thing wasn’t mucking up affairs. Probably still bad, given Ned was ready to leave the moment killing Dany came on the menu, but it’d probably err closer to Creegan in rating than anyone. Low key its kinda on Robert for choosing the winner of the ‘Most out of the loop’ award 10 years running to be Hand over either of his actively begging for the position brothers. Maybe its in the text, but I’ve always wondered how the brother’s relationships could’ve gotten so fraught as to consider fully investing in Lannister stocks a good idea.

57:40 Marston Waters didn't know about Peak's scheme. He was only a pawn. He showed before that he treats his vows seriously multiple times, saving Targaryens from both sides in Dance. True knight. Won't belive that he could sheme with Unwin. So he didn't know any names. But still was really not a person who Unwin and Munkun would want to have around. This also explains why he didn't attack during Secret Siege

Davos ❤ the man is the reason the readers like Stannis so much. He's so underrated ❤
He's truly decent, smart, gives good advice, fights (his king)for what's right, he's modest, actually has the king's and people's best interests at heart.

my favorite hand of the king is what cersei got

To be honest  Ned  didn't even want to be hand of the king so honestly he wasn't that bad.

1:40:13 Good to see that relations between the house of Llama and the house of Seals are holding strong.

0:39 it's probably Dunk. He probably held every single position in the small council at once, hence why they ended up in a flaming building

The pic you used for Alyn stokeworth 1:36:35 actually depicted his squire Bernarr brune

1:40:13 hahaha! Glad to hear Anakin's Thesis getting the recognition it deserves.

This is such an awesome video & I’ve actually been hoping someone would make this video ranking ALL of the Hands so you are the MVP of ASOIAF Channels right now for making this video! I hope you make more videos & rankings like this. Like maybe rank all of the lords, houses, & knights from the different regions would be cool too. They’d be long videos but those are the best & if they’re too long you could do a part 1 & 2. But keep up the great content like this bc this is so awesome!

Started cooking and needed  something to watch legend 👏🏽
