I picked up the new Mark 5 in the shop, and was really surprised at how much lighter it felt compared to my iV.
Almost (dare I say it) in a cheap plasticy way.
I will be buying it.
The shop (Wex camera's) have offered me £1k in exchange for the iV so that's pretty good.
I may get more on ebay, but I think the prices have actually come down a little in the last week or so.

Nice!

Lovely video of my favourite castle, which I visited many times in my youth. Looks magnificent with the reflections. Thanks Stuart, it brought back many happy memories. Why did I ever leave Sussex??!!

Bodiaham Castle always looks great and there are hald dozen Castles near by

Wanting to get into photography I ordered the Sony RX10 v and I am trying to learn how to use it. This video seems just the kind of content to help me in my Journey. Thanks for posting it.

i have got 1 2 now , talking camera 😁 nice shots 👍

Beautiful Stuart. I sieve i have seen you shoot this castle with the M4 in the past. Great shots. With probably minimal touchup in Post. Nice Panorama stitch.

Do you live in the East Sussex area?  I thought you lived much further west.

Love watching your RX10 videos, I had the IV but for financial reasons had to sell it some time ago, so I'm back to my trusty 10 year old Nikon gear. This is a considered purchase for me, the V'. My question is, I've seen a couple of other reviews lately that say, yeah, well it's really just a IV with very little improvement after all this time. Surely it's better than the IV, the AF with the latest recognition features etc, from your informative videos it certainly looks like a big step up from the IV. Cheers.

hi stuart, thanks for all your posts on this new SONY RX 10V. I've got mine few weeks ago and I really enjoy to use it .
Personally, I only use the viewfinder to take pictures. Have you found any way to turn off the main screen to save battery ?
If any, let me know how to do that ...
Best regards
Gerard

Not interested in the RX10V.   Have A6700 and will tune back in when the RX10V videos end.
