Lol not the girls thirsting over Korra's dad. That was funny😂

This isn’t a spoiler as this is from obscure supplementary material, but to give some context regarding the relationship between the Northern and Southern Water Tribes, a long time ago there were no North and South tribes. There was only a singular Water Tribe located in the North Pole.
But, as shown back in ATLA, the North was very restrictive and conservative. Such as with their rules regarding arranged marriages/betrothal and forbidding women from learning Waterbending as a martial art for combat. This led to a significant amount of the population deciding to secede and breakaway from the North. Immigrating and settling in the South Pole, forming the Southern Water Tribe. As a result, the South is also less centralized than the North, hence why it doesn’t have a capital (per se) and is made up of scattered towns and villages.

Chronicles of the Avatar is a series of novels that focus on the avatars of the past, like Kyoshi, Yangchen, and Roku. I highly recommend them. Very good stories. One of my favorite parts of this season is the focus on Korra’s watertribe heritage. The Northern and Southern tribes are very interesting, and seeing Korra in a tug of war between the two is the type of pathos that makes great Avatars.

Having watched all of Korra and re watched it a few times I would say Tenzin, Lin Beifong and Jinora are my top 3 favorite Korra characters.

Love them all though.

Kyoshi is a SAVAGE, I wouldn't be surprised if she would have become the avatar young Korra would have tried to emulate.

Morgan is right study spirit bending first then she can go back to Tenzin. The most logical thing to do at this moment.

Random, but I love Mako’s winter/cold outfit. It’s very drippy.

This is an old anime, wondering if there is an ulterior motive doing review of the cut anime…. Wondering if someone is being targeted with this review , someone using the nickname korra….too many cuts and skipped…. No good intentions behind this review…
