Im currently in a 28 day treatment in Minnesota at hazelden Betty Ford for opiate addiction that i have from a hockey injury when I was a young man. Im now 44 years old and have in the last few years have been using fentanyl. Im from Montana. The dirty 30's are everywhere.. its the devil drug. Im embarrassed to admit that but I want people to know how real this shit is and its even in small town USA... im looking forward to my sobriety. Been clean a little over 2 weeks. Getting off this shit was hell and I literally wanted to die. I left it at God's feet and went cold turkey being that they have a medical staff here. Inform your family and especially your children this shit is dangerous and deadly and it will hook you quick. I have lost family members from this shit...

Something is wrong with mainstream media when a retired Navy SEAL and former CIA operative, who became a firearms instructor and YouTube podcaster, is putting out better interviews and content than even National Geographic, Discovery, and all other news channels. Keep it up, Shawn! The world needs this now more than ever.

I have 5 years of sobriety. My sober date is nov 6th 2019. I started using meth at 15, heroin at 16, and fentanyl at 28. I got sober at 32 and I'm 37 now

Contare Shawn. I'm 81 years old & i haven't listened to MSM for years. Finally canceled my cable altogether. Wasn't using it anyway. I'm happy i found your podcast!
I am absolutely addicted to it!! I learn a lot & love how so many of the Vets share how they have found God & how you support our wounded warriors mentally. Also, great information like this podcast.

You're the first person that I've heard say that about China, creating the fentanyl epidemic in the US to help them achieve becoming a superpower. I've been saying that for years!
I'm let down that our government seems to be letting it happen without notice.
Great job Sir!

I was addicted to heroin for 13 years, went homeless for the last year of using and finally ended up in jail where I was able to clean up for the six months I was in. Hardest thing I’ve ever had to do and lost about 70% of my friends throughout the whole time. Thank you for giving this topic the exposure that you did.

one thing people get wrong all the time about fentanyl is the duration of effect. heroin has an effect lasting about 4-6 hours. fentanyl lasts only about 1 hour, necessitating much more frequent dosing to stave off withdrawal.

Hard-core, every single household in our country, that's dealt with the pills, deserves this information, thank you sir

“Should we call the embassy?” For some reason, that made me crack up so much hahaha. Glad Sean and Luis both laughed too. Like they said… what the hell is the embassy going to do?!?!

I’m very grateful to my Dad for bringing me to USA too, I came to this Country to work because in Mexico we don’t have the opportunities we have here. Now USA is home for me and my Family, we are grateful and blessed.

This podcast is like watching a therapist discussing issues with his patient.Narcos have the ability to find you and kill you if they find you disrespectful in anyway. Cheers to Luis for discussing the Narco issues in such a sober but respectful manner. Great interview.

I'm a person that thought I was getting something different. One of thoes pills got into what I thought was a gallium. 5 min later I felt strange and my last thought was shit. I'm dead. Thank God my family kept their heads and started c.p.r. I woke up in the hospital. Not knowing what happened to me. The shame I feel for my mistake is almost crushing. The look on the hospital staff, the look at my family and see fear for me. So hard to imagine this happened to me and now on my permanent file is od on fentanal . I would have been a statistic. Just another od. I'm so sorry my family feels that shame and worry. Remember.. if it's not your don't touch it.

You are one of the best (if not the best) in the content of your show. I am a Viet Nam vet ( yeh I am and old dude) and love sharing your shows with family and friends.

There once was a time when the media would report on information like this.
Now it's down to brave individuals like you Shawn and your guests to inform the public.
Great content; a riveting watch.
Best wishes from 🇬🇧

Bro, our politicians work the same way as the "cartel" controlled politicians in Mexico. We call the "cartels" influence on politicians, lobbyist. Even in state and especially city level politics. I.E, "You want to a school district administrator? "We'll" finance your campaign with tons of money. So that you win. When you do. You will give the construction contracts, landscaping contracts, motor pool contracts etc. To whom I tell you too!".
Works exactly the same with state and fed politics. It's what it is. Same corruption. Different color.
