The adventures of Roger Reaves has you sitting on edge as he tells you his vivid memories of smuggling drugs into the U.S. He spanned the globe in passenger planes, fishing boats, 737s, and yachts for Pablo Escobar and the Medellín Cartel and at one point was shot down by Colombian military jets. At the height of his career he had a net worth of $60 Million. It all came crashing down for Mr. Reaves and in total cost him roughly 30 years of his life locked away from his family.

The story telling of Andy Griffith, the balls of Tony Montana, the gallows humor of a coroner, and the lovability of your grandpa! What a blessed character. 😀

This man is a Terrific story teller. His voice, his cadence, and his southern charm is perfect. The stories are amazing but the way he tells them puts a cherry on top.

This man is 80 and looks 60. This man did more in a week than most people do in their lifetime. This man is like the Forrest Gump of drug runners. This man has the biggest balls on the planet! That is all.

No exaggeration, EVERY other Channel that has had Roger on for a interview they’ve all failed to let roger actually talk without cutting him off and roger never could get a chance to speak about everything . Hats off to you Shawn Ryan 👏🏻

He's talking about being tortured, breaking out of prison, being chased by multiple different governments, people being murdered and his voice sounds like he's narrating a Disney movie. Love it. Haha

I could listen to old timers like this guy tell stories all day. Especially with that southern accent and all his saying. Gentlemen like this man are the best story tellers. Thank you mister Ryan, we appreciate it

There's no question Shawn has become a world class interviewer. He's able to ask intelligent questions of substance that paint an accurate picture of whomever his guest is. Super enjoyable episode. Roger's life is a television series. Wow!

I just caught myself smiling for 10 minutes straight. They don't makem like this anymore. Raising a boy into a good man is a huge responsibility.

I’d like to file a complaint about your show. I can’t listen to any other interviews with others hosts and not be annoyed listening to how they cut people off and ask another question. You sir have set the bar high for interviews

Man, Netflix needs to make a one season series on this mans life. What a life this man has lead. Dangerous but interesting.

What I love about Shawn as a person is he's willing to talk to anybody ( not to say he doesn't have a standard) but I love the variety of guests .
