The universe clearly had to balance itself after that 12 Minute Spinda Hunt.

It just occurred to me that you’re a Pokemon Researcher. A real life Professor Oak, contributing to Pokemon’s actual body of knowledge.

There's a beauty in the thought that some kid in the 2000's found a normal unown but the pokedex displayed a shiny one completely by chance.

How many shiny altaria were hurt filming this video. Jesus...

Myth 0.5: You can encounter a wild shiny Petilil.

26:28 We went from not knowing it was a thing to now knowing 2 pokemon that act this way. It's a really cool hunt for gen 3 as well. Might do it myself someday.

The Altaria fainted, was revived, & grew 2 levels before you found it again & caught it.

@7:58 I've never seen someone so miserable finding a shiny before

I love that when it finally spawned, the game was nice enough to put it side by side with an original one so we could see the color difference, lol

come for the rumours, stay for the music taste

i was not expecting the lilligant to be lv 100 or shiny lol, i was convinced you were wasting your time and it was just gonna be a hardcoded lilligant with your petil's nickname. that's actually so cool.

Oh my god. I did this hunt. The Petilil hunt. It's the reason I never finished gen 5. When I got to that part of the game, I decided that I didn't want to continue until I got a shiny Petilil for some reason. I even bought a japanese copy of the game to hatch Masuda eggs while I searched. In over 1000 eggs and hundreds of hours of searching Pinwheel Forest, I never found it. The dpad on my 3ds gave out before I found one. It was my white whale. I can't believe there's another who knows my pain. Props for getting it and extra props for giving it up. You're insane, and I respect the commitment. Bonus that it actually worked and gave the npc a shiny!

Manually shiny hunting for these tests instead of just cheating them in is pure masochism

Your videos are the rare blend of niche-interest insanity and immaculate, idiosyncratic vibes that I just fucking love. So glad you're out here making artsy-ass pokemon videos

this channel is basically summarised by two things: obscure unproven pokemon knowledge, and saying 'aight bet' to that obscure knowledge

26:00 unown G stands for the GOAT

Gonna need an incredible real life documentary about lapras being in a cave on Fridays being based on some Japanese local myth

15:30 I absolutely did this. It was a nice maze as a kid.

You forgot to check if the Petilil would keep an item too, you need to do it all over again! Godspeed my friend!

The shiny Lilligant thing (plus the other traded Pokémon you battle against) was already a known fact, though I don't believe the level 100 thing was. So good job!
