I was given the terrible news yesterday that my 7 1/2 year old goldie has a really aggressive form of cancer and only 1 to 2 months to live. Please everyone give your dog an extra hug for me

Mia looks like the most important dog of my lifetime and I’m pushing 80 years old. Our son chose a pup from the shelter when he was in treatment for cancer. He named him Harley. Unfortunately 3 months later our son passed away. Harley became my link to my son. I cried into his fur, stroked his velvet ears, just laid on the floor with him. Harley was a complete goof ball and made me laugh when I thought I might never smile again. Watching this video took me down memory lane in this bittersweet life. I’m so glad this sweet girl got the loving home she deserves. 💝💝💝

Imagine being removed from your home and put in jail and be surrounded by other animals just as scared as you. The smell, sights and sounds are terrifying. Thank you and all those who watch and donate. Thank you Rocky and the team most importantly Mrs rocky.

Can we talk about how insanely good Mel is as a groomer? That rapport building is impeccable. A true professional. So glad the young pup has a loving life ahead of her.

I did that to a dog. I got in his area and he became my best friend. No fast movement, no attempts to get him to come to me. Just sat with him for hours. He came to me to get petted, then sat in my lap. Alone, afraid, thinking you will hurt him, that all goes away. He felt LOVE for the first time. She will come to know LOVE for what it is.

my dog was bred for fighting and was gonna get put down for aggression, now he sleeps upside down and has a dog buddy <3

I walked into the pet store to cat food. The humane society was there and all I saw was this small little shy beagle. I had to have him, but it was late in the afternoon and I figured he had lots of applications on him. But nope so I adopted him. That was in 20q2. He's right now sleeping next to me still my puppy and still the live of my life. He's old now but so precious and sweet. I love him more every day. I love how much you and Mel help these beautiful creatures. God bless you.

We adopted our girl, Bonita, three years ago. The rescue told us she was an owner relinquish, but didn't have any information beyond her name because they had no one who spoke Spanish. We thought about changing her name, but when we called her, Bonita, she came running. Our d-i-l is Puerto Rican and our granddaughter is learning Spanish in school, so we started speaking more Spanish to her. She's a dream dog for sure, especially after we started asking her about food in Spanish. She's great. Thank you, Rocky, for the time and love you give these pups - even in Spanish.

She didn't teach the dogs to jump fences. She was scared and trying to escape and the fences were not good enough to contain her or the other dogs. It's never the dogs fault.

Mel is just a walking sign for dogs that says:"You'll be all right. It's safe here."

My first impression? That girl wasn't aggressive, she was terrified and trying to bluff all the scaries into leaving her alone.

Edit: so happy to see Mia got a (hopefully) forever home.

My dogs are multilingual. They can ignore commands in several languages. 😂 Joking apart, I’m certain that dogs understand intent, from tone fall and the hormones. If we’re secreting adrenaline or serotonin, they’ll know it immediately. ❤️🐾❤️🐾

I rescued my dog Barney. Saw him one day spent a lot of thin talking to him. Got to walk him for abit. Returned to his kennel and left. Went back the next day. We locked eyes as I found him in his kennel. I knew immediately that he was to be my forever dog. A little white sweet guy. He has been with me since that day 12 years ago. Nothing but mutual love and joy ❤❤❤
