Autopsy Reveals Strangulation Marks on 5-Year-Old: Expert

The forensic pathologist who did the autopsy for five-year-old Paitin Feilds took the stand to discuss her injuries. She noted that the child “appeared healthy” for a child her age but did notice some ligature marks on her neck as well as injuries to her hand. She also discussed the internal injuries that she found on the child. Paitin’s uncle, David Prevatte, is charged with abusing and murdering her in 2017.

Can I mention that after hearing this doctor’s testimony I think that maybe David was doing something more than what we’ve learned so far. Such as he was possibly playing a sexual game of tightening and releasing the item he used to strangle her to get off more?

These dumb small town investigators botched this investigation starting with the hospital. It’s like they’re all rookies. SMH. It took them 4 years to arrest this guy and pin this on him! If he had money for a really good attorney he would get off.
