I just love watching your videos Emma, not only for the gorgeous scenery and history that I don't see here in America, but for your helpful commentary on the choices that you make while drawing and painting.  It's very helpful, and appreciated.

I have come across your videos as I am recovering from my third surgery on my right eye (this time for a detached retina).  I can watch videos while my iPad is perched on my lap as I keep my head down.  I could hardly believe it when you said you were on your fourth eye surgery!  I can so relate.  I love your videos, your sense of humor and looking at the beautiful English countryside.  We have nothing that old in my part of the U.S. near Chicago so it is enjoyable to see you drawing and painting those lovely old buildings there.  Thanks for sharing!

What a spectacular view from the drone! Love your plein air painting style . It’s really inspiring !❤ Your videos give me vicarious joy of visiting the places😊

I think you are so talented Emma🎉🎉🎉

Very nice Emma - I liked you adding the blue into your shadows, it worked well, so much better than a really dark grey/black. That fude pen works well when you want a thicker line in a sketch - are they tricky to use compared to a normal fountain pen (which you got me into and I now use all of the time 👍) Thanks Martin

Oh! Drone down!

Your my number  one channel thank you so much you have given me more inspiration

Thank you, it’s ordered 😄

That was really great to watch. Lots of good tips. Glad you got the drone back! Love your beautiful sketch..

Your artwork is just amazing. So glad I have discovered your Chanel. Love and kind wishes from New Zealand 💐❌

Really enjoyed this! Love your videos. Nice to find someone else who is getting out sketching despite eye problems. Agree with you about Sap Green - I don't like it either. I use W&N Olive Green. It's a nice all-purpose green which looks fine without any mixing (but also works well with added yellow or blue).

enjoyed the history of that lovely place.  I also like the Urban Sketch books  NIce sketch and enjoyable video

That’s my favorite fudé! I’m going to try again, but I had so much trouble with the 40* nibs - it took me a while to realize that my green pen was the 50*. I had convinced myself my blue one was 50*, lol.

That was inspiring to watch how the scene developed. Thank you for taking us along. I‘d like to learn more about the drone in a future video. Does it take pictures or a video? Which model would you recommend?

Another great sketch! I must try the blue mix for shadows... I'm glad you kept dry. Mx

I liked the bright colours . May I ask where you scourced your music.?

I love this sketch. Thanks for sharing. I echo your dislike of sap green - I have only recently discovered the red trick. It makes all the difference.

Nice 👏👏

Emma, I noticed your chair, looks good, where did you get it, please?
I like listening to your commentary & watching you work. Good stuff.

Hi, Emma! Before I forget the time stamp, please will you tell me what you were playing around the 8 minute mark? It's a piece I know very well, and it's still running through my head, but the name's really eluding me!

Sitting in a quiet meadow, painting a lovely old house is my idea of pastoral bliss, so thank you for taking us along with you on this trip and to whoever was with you! I'm very glad that the drone survived its accident, and you still had enough undamaged film to show us more of the hall and its surroundings from a different angle.

When I saw the dark clouds behind you, I began to hold my breath ... It seems you don't have a brolly of any sort with you?

I can remember when Susie and I got caught in a storm in the Lincolnshire Wolds, with a small church we were sketching not far away, but not enough time to grab things and run to church or back to car, so we sat under the big fishermen's brollies, watched it come racing towards us and said quite a few prayers that the lightning and any stray thunderbolts was going to leave us alone!

We, and our kit stayed dry, and both of us soo so thankful that I always had both those brollies with us. Only possible because of the car - too heavy for me (because of health issues) to carry very far. That experience of watching the storm in all its majesty, moving rapidly towards us, and then away, with a view from 'the best seats in the house'  is one I will never forget!

Anyway, as ever, I digress and waffle on, but hopefully, it helps you to understand just how much I appreciate your plein air videos as I watch from a very different environment, Emma. 😊
