Are you struggling to trust God with something you can’t control? In this episode of Prayerful Fridays, we’re opening our prayer journals and putting our worries, questions, and fears into God’s hands—one page at a time.
I’ll show you a simple “pour your heart out” prayer journaling technique that allows you to write freely and privately, then cover what you’ve written with a truth from God’s Word. It’s a beautiful reminder that we can bring everything we’re carrying to God—and let His truth have the final word.
We’ll also revisit our Psalm 23 challenge from last week and look at what this familiar passage teaches us about who God is: our Shepherd, Provider, Guide, Comforter, and the One who walks with us through every valley.
✨ PLUS—we’re celebrating 10K!
This Prayerful Friday falls right in the middle of my 10K Subscriber Celebration, so I’m showing you how to use the first two celebration freebies right inside your prayer journal:
🌿 Day 1: 10 Ways to Draw Closer to God Through Your Journal
🙏 Day 2: 5 Prayer Prompts for Trusting God
I’ll show you how I print the pages smaller on cardstock and turn them into useful tip-ins for my prayer journal.
Join my email list to be in the celebration! https://www.faithartdesignstudio.org/...
If you’re new to prayer journaling—or you've been journaling for years but want your journal to become more focused on Scripture, prayer, and your relationship with God—#PrayerfulFridays is for you.
Here, creativity isn't the destination. It's a tool that helps us slow down, engage with God's Word, pour out our hearts in prayer, and remember His faithfulness.
❤️ THIS WEEK'S PRAYER CHALLENGE
Choose one of the five Trusting God prayer prompts. Read the Scripture slowly and ask:
What does this verse tell me about God?
Then ask:
What am I having difficulty trusting God with right now?
Pour it out to Him—and finish your page with one truth from Scripture.
Let God's truth have the final word.
Come join our 10K Celebration and be sure to join us in the Rooted in Christ Creative Community on Facebook, where we can encourage one another and share our Faithart journeys.
And join me every Friday for another Prayerful Friday as we grow closer to God through Scripture, prayer, and meaningful creativity.
Until next Friday, keep praying, keep listening, and keep remembering God's faithfulness—one page at a time.
