it's because they know they can get away with it and fans would still flock their performances as long as they are visually appealing.

If you'd care to check on other pop genre like PPop (Philippine pop), you'll be amaze with the group from Philippines - SB19. They are vocal monsters and live singing is what they're good at. Not only did they perform live but live in front of a scorching sun and doing difficult choreographies as well, while singing! They're awesome!

So happy to see a lot of SB19 comments here. They deserve more promotion! ❤

I'm tired of IDOLS who suck at LIVE SINGING. isn't that what they trained many years for??? 🙄🙄🙄

The audio engineer be working OVERTIME for "some" of these idols man, cuz wdym you have TWO separate backtracks on to mask your inability as a singer, like are you THAT incompetent?

Atp Jennie's dancers should be paid more than her, Jennie is not singing or dancing, then wth is she doing? 🫩 On regards to the other groups, they're groups I definitely enjoy and that we know can actually sing but what on earth are they doing stepping on a stage to not sing when they're are SINGERS, what are we doing?

@Zee_1003 1 month ago

random karaoke singers in the Philippines can crush these artists. just saying...

@marisolJF 1 month ago

Jennie is performing as if she was trained to perform this way- just back tracks and pre-recorded vocals

SB19 performed in Lollapalooza 2026 Day 1. They sang live. You should check them out and use them as an example. They are a boygroup from the Philippines.

I love it when a person can speak the truth and I love your unfiltered opinion in the intro. Too many ppl tiptoe around actually speak the truth. And I couldn’t agree more with you— thanks for analysis

Im not fully against lipsyncing, but man i remember a time when it was a huge scandal whenever someone was caught lipsyncing just once and now it's practically the standard...

@Zee_1003 1 month ago

proud of my SB19. despite the scorching heat of the sun and the time slot, they still killed it...as they always do.

@angelas888 1 month ago

I agree with you. Recently, idols can't sing. . .

Check SB19 performance in Lollapaloza 2026...you will be amazed at their live vocals!

Check out Ppop SB19❤ at Lollapalooza 2026. It was LIVE VOCALS while dancing hard in the 3pm scorching heat. Contrast them with the Kpop groups at Lolla and you will HEAR the difference.

Man it's just disappointment after disappointment with some of these idols🙉

@zest9084 1 month ago (edited)

If you're tired of seeing Idols lipsyncing or splitting, just watch SB19, they also performed in Lolla

Zara Larsson can just sing live and still ppl will be blind and prefer lip sync performer like SOME idols, they need to build stamina but they just focus on visual, outfit, staging lmao
