EC fans are a cult. They will not stop until you've been through everything :D Or so I hear...

After their original lead singer left, they casted Nico as the new clean singer (keyboard player & backing screamer Kevin became main harsh vocalist). They decided to introduce him to the fans with a no holds barred - all in - over the top song and video, which was Hypa Hypa (mission accomplished I guess).
The dance crew at the end is a group of befriended youtubers/gamers/streamers, some of them appeared in other videos or even collaborated on songs.

During lockdown, when all concerts and festivals were cancelled, EC got bored in the studio and filmed two short TikToks of alternative Hypa Hypa versions: a German beer tent folk version and a black metal version. Their followers flooded them with comments, suggesting full length remakes in different styles. So EC reached out to artists from other genres and invited them to do covers, features or remixes. We ended up with:
a folk metal cover by Saltatio Mortis,
a (synth)pop version featuring Sasha,
a German rap cover by 257ers (EC do feature on the chorus),
an edm remix by Gestört Aber Geil,
an emo rock ballad by Axel One,
a deathcore cover by We Butter The Bread With Butter (WBTBWB),
a country version featuring The BossHoss.
All versions work surprisingly well within their genre.
Even the ones that are no full covers, with the guest artist 'only' featuring (music production and parts of the vocals by EC), are completely dedicated to the respective genre.
Linh, the model from the original video appears in the pop version and has a cameo in the rap version.
The cover by 257ers is the only one with additional lyrics (in German).
The edm remix suffers from a genre standard video without any comedic elements, all the other videos have at least the two EC vocalists appearing, some even the complete band.

MOREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

If you want a peek at their process search for Electric Callboy Maniac cover.  They literally took the song Maniac and impromptu completely revamped it into "their" party-core style.

Who knew metal could be so HAPPY?
Spaceman is another great one for your list.

You need to watch a live video, their energy is off the charts! I saw them last November in London (they're constantly touring) and it is, by far, the best gig I've ever been to., and I've been going to gigs since the late 90's!

The song that broke the group out into Youtube and musical lore, the Rosetta Stone of their songs ha ha, and even then knew it would be a FUN journey. The most positive band on the planet.

The members of the official fan club call themselves “Electric Escorts” … I think it’s a pretty fitting name.

Yes! Thanks for the awesome reaction!!! Bte. the boys dancing in the end are german Youtubers.

Walking out of a show you'll definitely hear people chanting that "ringtone" part down the halls 🎉 they are just a wonderful time

Go with Everytime we touch or TEKKNo Train next ! The ringtone part is an image to Scooter “Maria I like I aloud” which is a German EDM classic played at lots of sports events. Every kid know the  dubdubdub. Scooters first song was “Hyper, hyper” so I goes full circle

This is from 2020, so covid era. They collaborated with a variety of German artists and made like 7 other versions of the song. And they star in all the videos, it's hilarious!!!

Some of the hypa hypa versions:
Saltatio Mortis
Axel One
WBTBWTB (we butter the bread with the butter. Yup)
Sasha
257ers

YES! Great choice of EC and great reaction! What's next?

Spaceman or Tekkno Train is a great followup to this one! Enjoy!

Welcome down the EC rabbit hole. Check out their live performances but the list of videos you need to check out is massive. Everytime We Touch or Hurrikan should be the next up. Need to finish out their Tekkno masterpieces before movie onto their latest release. Welcome to the Revolution

The Kurwa Song an epic drum solo live by their old drummer. ;)

I really love your EC reactions. 😂 The EC fans don't have an official name afaik, I don't call myself anything special though I'm a really big fan 😊

He is almost ready for hurrikane

Or laugh track by ice nine kills

@WatchStuffWithUs  Not to throw you down another rabbit hole while you're just getting started (seriously, there's *a lot more*), but I highly recommend check out MAPHRA's (Maffra) vocal cover of Bring Me The Horizon's "Doomed".  If you're not familiar with that song, listen to the studio version first, not the Live @ Royal Albert Hall video.  BTMH loved her cover and had her sing it with them at Sonic Temple earlier this year.  Her cover was #1 on Billboard's hard rock chart for *5 weeks*, beating out other established acts like Motionless in White, Sleep Token, Bad Omens, and Nickelback.  It has also had over 36 million views in the 8 months since it was released.

If you enjoy that (you will), then I'd recommend watching the rest of the videos on her YouTube channel, starting from her first cover of Bad Omens' "Specter".  You'll get to see the progression in her vocals, production, and appearance.  Trust me, it's worth the detour.
