I’m loving all the youtube content lately! As someone who misses Caroline’s streams due to time zone, I’m really appreciative of her videos!

I mean... does no one remember just how exactly we got movie-Patrick Bateman in American Psycho? Christian Bale watched Tom Cruise in interviews, and was so affected by how intense yet empty Tom was.

As a 90's baby, it's crazy to me how people have forgotten about Tom Cruise's behaviour

“You don’t know and I do“ talking about psychiatry and prescribing drugs.  Dr. Tom Cruise over here LMAO

2006 Tom is the average man on the Internet in 2026. 😵

"Matt...Matt...Matt, Matt"😅 Back when this originally aired, this was the moment when I realized that I can't stand Tom Cruise.

John Travolta killed his own son by denying him seizure meds.

Watching this in retrospect he is so much weirder and arrogant than I even remembered. I can only imagine the BS he put these women and his children through.

The audacity and intensity with which Cruise utters utter bullshit...

would love a katie holmes memoir but she's also valid for not wanting to tell it, whether for safety or privacy reasons.

I'm old enough to remember the Tom/Nicole divorce as it played out in the media and all the horrible details about Tom that surfaced then
eta: yeah Tom was seen as a freak for divorcing Nicole and choosing his cult over her and the couch thing cemented it

Thank you for talking about all of this! I remember when so much of this happened and having it reframed is so amazing!

If I ever were to meet Tom Cruise, I would not be able to hold back from asking "where is Shelly Miscavige?"

Did people forget? I think a lot of people just stopped caring. It's like: "Yeah, he's a weird guy... but those Mission: Impossible stunts are crazy."

Stop watching Tom Cruise and Jared Leto movies. They fucking suck!

damn as someone who was a kid in the 2000s and early 2010s i remember how much of a laughing stock tom was back then and esp with how much nearly everyone made fun of him. the south park episode which made fun of scientology and him always sticks out of my mind esp with the way how they got triggered at matt and trey after that as well also!

Tom said early.in his career- like back in the 80s - that if he hadnt become an actor he would have been a priest, which has always been interesting to me since he's become such a devout scientologist

I would be interested in hearing how mimi rogers feels as she was the one who brought cruise to the church and she's left

I love how the title is framed like this is a revelation when folks have known this basic fact for decades

my step dad was a scientologist - this is big step dad energy

Stanley Kubrick lost one of his daughter to that cult (he wrote a public letter about it) and the entire shooting of Eyes Wide Shut was endured under the pressure of the Scientology, you can read it entirely with that angle.
