I will ALWAYS thank 9 year old me in 2020 who randomly decided to buy the pro version when it was a one time purchase of 9.99 even though I didn’t animate. I animate quite a bit now and I was able to restore the purchase so I got them no substitution

As a an old Flipaclip animator
THIS IS SO FOR REAL LIKE
DON'T YOU REALIZE THE BUCKET TOOL IS A BIT DIFFERENT!? LIKE IT DOESN'T FULLY FILL UP THE OUTLINES
WHEN I SET THE THRESHOLD TO 99. AND WHEN I SET THE THRESHOLD TO 100, IT FULLY FILLS UP MY CANVAS. BEFORE THE DOWNFALL OF FLIPACLIP, I NEVER HAD A PROBLEM LIKE THAT.

FlipaClip is turning into Adobe 💀💀💀💀

pirating Flipaclip was the best decision i had made back then, subscription plans suck

I honestly hate it, I don’t have the option to watch adds for the stuff and can’t spend money on the app. I also like to watch videos while animating but you can’t do that with ariplane mode.

flipaclip was the reason my old tablet got bricked i'm pretty sure so i've held a grudge against it ever since

Flipaclip literally forcing people to pirate it 😢

flipaclip was such a nostalgic tool for young kids, like for me back in 2015. I miss the old app so much, now its just money grabbing and its harder to use because im pretty sure you only get a couple of layers and stuff.

It’s those STUPID TEMU ADS 🤬 6:16

I can relate to you, sm. i haven't animated since 2021, but when i came back, i was really disappointed

I used to use flipaclip, it started to become a cashgrab, I started to realize how little potential I had using it for free, and just switched to rough animator. Honestly rough animator is worth the amount it costs compared to what the app provides you.

I have a VERY hard time getting on track after being distracted, so when flipaclip used to give me ads after playing an animation I would just quit making the animation because I couldn't focus again.

As a former flipaclip user, check the files, flipaclip has ads saved in its files sometimes. Thats why that ad popped up probably. Get a file manager app that can access all files on your device and delete the ad files

9:37 Ads nowadays are pre-loaded to avoid people bypassing them with airplane mode like you did

I HATE the ads I would animate at school a lot not knowing that I could turn on airplane mode and usually the ads were cereal ad or something but occasionally I would get REALLY gross ads of mobile games with over segualized  girls with only censor bars covering their private parts and I was so worried that I would get in trouble because of the ads I was getting. Also this is usually a kids first animating app, so why are there ads like that!? (Also I had the option to watch a ad to get a extra layer)

9:38  it loaded before you turn on airplane mode

OH MY GOD I JUST REALIZED YOUR CHARACTER IS A SEAL. 😭

I love animating, but when i tried flipaclip, i was REALLY dissapointed, so i just got toonsquid, which was how much the old flipaclip premium was. But it was amazing. I would totally recommend it for all animators!

What ruined it for me personally, it was getting rid of watching an add to add music. Now, I really can’t find a free animation software on my iPad where I can animate to the music

FlipaClip is starting to forget where they stand at

i just hope another good frame by frame animation app appears

because i am NOT dealing with TEN layers and no filters???
