As a flipaclip user it's getting really disappointing how Flipaclip is starting to hate underage animators or poor animators. At this point in a few years I want to be surprised if everything gets into a paywall including installing the app

@shadaneanimates 1 year ago

I'm starting to think they hate children. Every time a greedy company decides to paywall important features for animation or drawing apps used primarily by children, it makes me think they believe art and animation is for adults only because really, what kid has $72? I didn't even get $50 from my allowance; not everyone's rich!
Also, the fact that the pixel brush of all things is locked behind a paywall makes me mad. That means kids can't do 8-bit style animations!

I feel like a lot of editing apps and drawing apps nowadays are just getting really money hungry and it sucks bcuz they make their apps entirely unusable in the process

Flipaclip is the reason i started animating and its disappointing that it might not be able to inspire upcoming animators like it did for me.

I wanted to animate with audio. THATS ALL I WANT. flipaclip: paywall. IbisPaint: nothing. Procreate: nothing. UGHHHH ADOBE IS SO FUCKING EXPENCIVE. This is why i dont animate anymore.

Artists should really learn how to sail the high seas

animation is getting so hard to even do. ipads are expensive as hell, and when you have a laptop and a drawing tablet all you got is blender or anime effects to do basic 2d animation. i wish there was an animation software like toon squid to be available for ALL devices. my ass is NOT putting my life savings into a ipad 😭

Who tf at Flipaclip thought it was a good idea to paywall everything. Also I like the drawings you made in this video
