Telling an artist their art sucks bc its not realistic from behind a pfp of an anime character or anthropomorphic McDonalds sprite is WILD

If we rejected all artists with "Bad AnAtOmY", probably none of your favorite anime or cartoons would exist.

So conclusion. Tiktok hates kids, ‘childish style’s’, new artists, and anything that HEAVILY diverts from realism - and loves professional artists. Seems about right

No way people choose ai slop over actual art. Tiktok is slowly devolving.

The reason why redchan is hated is because people just hated that she moved on from fandoms and do her own stuff. They just hate her because she moved on from their intrests. I feel like tiktok just hates people being theirselves.

The lack of crtitical thinking on tiktok is disturbing. For the first one, their artstyle has nothing to do with their problematic actions. For the second, im bothered by how people on tiktok speak their opinion like fact. There are spaces on the internet for your opinions, the artist’s account is not that space. You’ll live if someone’s artstyle isnt your cup of tea. I genuinely believe that these people are harming their physical health by getting so stressed about things they dont like. Also, the condescension in tiktok comments is revolting.

Doombrulee's art is honestly really amazing. It takes a lot of skill to consistently draw in a somewhat abstract, geometric style (similar to cubism) with complicated shading and bright color palettes. Their art feels like an explosion of whimsy, and is really nostalgic to look at. I think actual art critics would appreciate their work more than anyone on social media. They definitely have a bright future in art.

"Your anatomy doesn't make sense"

Its a fictional drawing

People tend to hate artstyles just for the sake of it sometimes

Like they find ANYTHING different and slightly unique and proceed to just start a hate train

same people that say its "ungoonable art" complain that artists sexualize their characters too much

Doombrulee's art style is like how the first time you look at it, you genuinely hate it, but the more you look at it, the more you start to get along with it, but that's at least in my opinion.

The people who are hating on the square-face artstyle person would not last 2 minutes inside an average art gallery 🙏

It also sucks when once someone gets called out for something, that’s only when everyone starts hating on their art. People are allowed to have opinions but it seems like they only hate on the art style once the person is called out

"Tiktok has found a new artstyle they HATE" snow found in Antartica

2:31 "What does my art taste like?" Lucky charm flavored churros

The lukki hate was deserved but i feel like they hate on her ARTSTYLE more instead of HERSELF

anyone who uses the defense "ungoonable art" really need to touch grass, cause why is your first issue with someones art that you can't sexualize it 😭

Doombrulee's art style kinda gives of those like- extra whimsy old children's books in the 2000s

TikTok users seem to have forgotten “don’t like, don’t interact” you can just scroll past
