In this video, I share something that many people have never stopped to think about. After everything that has happened in the last few weeks here in Norway, I started researching, talking to Norwegians, and observing the reality of this country more closely. And I came to a discovery that intrigued me.

The Brazilian community in Norway is almost entirely made up of women. Brazilian men have practically disappeared from the country. This is related to culture, relationships, social expectations, immigration history, and also the lifestyle in Norway.

While I show our routine here, with Christmas preparations, cleaning the garden before the snow, family gatherings, a lit fireplace, and small moments of the day, I reveal everything I've discovered. Why do so many Brazilian women come to Norway for relationships? Why do so many Norwegians travel to Brazil and return with a Brazilian partner? Why do so many Brazilian men fail to create bonds with Norwegian women? And why is the difference between Norway and Sweden so great when it comes to relationships and cultural openness?

Many people imagine that Norway is a simple country when it comes to love and relationships, but the truth is that there is a very strong cultural expectation. Norwegians themselves talk about it. And this standard ends up driving away many Brazilian men who try to live here.
It's not criticism, it's not judgment. It's just the reality of Norway that almost no one talks about.

I share my personal experience in Norway, I talk about my story with my wife who is Swedish, I explain how each person has their own path and how God uses different situations to build stories that make sense later on. This video is a reflection on relationships, culture, immigration and the real Norway.

And it's also an invitation for you to join the conversation.
Had you noticed this before?
Why are there so few Brazilian men living in Norway?
