The important rules in Indonesia is do not hesitate to ask people and make a friends. So, you can ask them where are the delicious and the cheap restaurant and the nice places.

Di indonesia ada tradisi "MALU BERTANYA SESAT DIJALAN" usahakan bertanya/komunikasi kepada orang sekitar karna mereka pasti akan mengarahkan anda pada tujuan anda,,dan kalian makan di restauran mewah tentu harga nya sangat mahal

In Indonesia, we use 2 types of GPS.

First, GPS technology.
Second, "Gunakan Penduduk Sekitar" which means just ask local residents.

The second one is usually more accurate. 😉🥰

hello old watch! yes it is true sometimes using Google maps only make it harder for foreigners to find a place because sometimes the Google maps is not updating the real road frequently 😂 just ask the local, even though they don't understand English if you have the place name right they'll show it to you

bro need socialize with the locals more, Indonesian is foreign-friendly enough to talk to. even they dont understand the language, they often use body language or if u show the Gmaps / the places you want to go they will pointing out the way. welcome to indonesia 🫶
