In this video, we’re ranking every Soulfly album from worst to best — from the iconic self-titled debut in 1998 all the way up to their latest release Chama (2025). Over the years, Max Cavalera and company have taken us on a wild journey through groove metal, nu metal, tribal rhythms, and pure thrash fury. We’ll revisit classic tracks, legendary guest features, and the evolution of the band’s sound across nearly three decades. Whether you’re a die-hard Soulfly fan, a longtime Sepultura listener, or just discovering their discography, this deep dive covers it all. ‪@Soulfly‬ #soulfly #numetal #groovemetal #sepultura

We just saw Cavalera doing Chaos AD in it's entirety here a few weeks ago. STELLAR concert! Max (and Igor) and legends.

Please also make the discography of Cavalera Conspiracy

Brazilian here, please check the band Nação Zumbi, which is the main band of the guitarist who played on Soulfly's 1st album, Lúcio Maia (credited as Jackson Bandeira). It's not metal, but it's informed by metal and it was one of the most mindblowing bands on Brazil during the late 90's. Let's say if Soulfly is 90% metal and 10% percussion infused Brazilian traditional music, Nação Zumbi is the other way around.

Man, I loved finding out about Soulfly in the record area of certain stores where you could listen to samples of each song. Those first 2 records are hard to beat

soulfly is such an underappreciated band even with all the big names attached to it over the years. max kind of carries the spirit of pure unadulterated metal in my mind, especially after lemmy died.
prophecy is still my fav album by them though, excited to jam the new one today.

Perfect timing for a video!! I was just about to go grab my dinner! 👊🏽🖤 I love Soulfly. So many of their songs are in a lot of my heavy lifting workout playlists.

Primitive has always been my favorite album of theirs, plus I've always loved the cover art

Happy to see Dark Ages move up to perfection, that's my personal favorite and I think a perfect representation of their sound! Absolute ripper and surprisingly my favorite part is the closing section of Staystrong / Soulfly V

@MetalTrenches hey dude🙋🏾‍♂️, first of all, let me just say congratulations on reaching over 50K subscribers👊🏾😎, second, I never really got into Soulfly, but I always respected him working alongside other heavy hitters both classic & modern, and keeping the scene on its toes🤘🏾

Also too, I've always found it strange that some of the best work in metal is inspired by both heartache and heartbreak, not saying that's a bad thing😉, but it's like damn...I don't want anyone to lose a loved one whether it's family or friends, but I know there's so many things we can't control right🤷🏾‍♂️

about to see max with Soulfly and nailbomb in the one gig

@MetalDad91 11 months ago

I love these videos!

There is a lot of hardcore albums coming next year too. Hatebreed, Terror , Harms Way. Gunna be a good year for music and me watching your content 😎 Oh and Kreator for metal. I'm excited as hell for that

@thefacelessmist 11 months ago

Never been my band but they have so many great songs, their greatest hits would be a triple album!

@TheyLive-2025 11 months ago

Soulfly + Nails. Oh hell yeah!

@theovermatt 11 months ago

I find so many people sleep on Soulfly because of the nu metal origins, which is a shame since they have so much quality stuff. Dark Ages IMHO stands up alongside even Sepultura's best.
