Violent Revolution and Enemy of God are in the fantastic tier for me as thrash's most original early-to-mid 00's comeback. It's just they are special after a depressing 90s decade for thrash.

Phantom Antichrist is how Iron Maiden would sound if they were a Thrash Metal band

Kreator has been developing their own style. It is fantastic to have melodies, atmosphere, speed and THRASH METAL in a single band. Even though, they are not playing as violently as their first albums were. Krator is still a great band and even one of the top thrash metal bands. So, the Big 5 around the world are Slayer, Testament, Overkill, Exodus, and Kreator.

The main riff on Riot of Violence goes so hard.

brother - i am with you on every single album here - except Renewal - I fkn love Renewal. Yeah it was a little to digest when it came out but man - what an album. It would be 'great' right next to enemy and violent for me. That 'perfection' tier though. 100% accurate!

For me, Kreator peaked with Extreme Aggression. But up until Coma of Souls, they are all perfection.

To me there are three eras of Kreator: First five albums, evolving from black thrash to to more refined, nineties era of experimentation - four albums that are hit and miss, and then since 2001 basically same album over and over, cool thrash riffs, gothenburg harmonies, arena anthemic singalong choruses. I am stilling checking new one out, though.

Cool Ranking man. Kreator took awhile for me to fully appreciate, but they’re one of my favorite bands now. I absolutely love the first 5 albums now and even past those there’s some I really enjoy. I finally committed and checked the albums from Renewal through Endorama last year and didn’t hate them. I honestly think Renewal is really great, but the vocals are a really tough sell. I think instrumentally that album is pretty sick, but I do agree it’d improve a ton if he was doing the classic vocals. My favorite album from 2000s onwards is Phantom Antichrist. I really enjoy the mix of Thrash, Melodeath, and Power Metal on that album. It’s super fun and catchy. Super pumped for the album. I thought the first single was really good. Haven’t heard the other ones since I know I was going to check the full album when that drops.
Cool video again and hope you keep dropping more bangers man.

Love Terrible Certainty so much.

I’m really enjoying the new songs. I’ve never really been into mayhem so I’m digging it so far. Life is a corpse you drag is an insane track (not sure if it’ll be on the album since it’s not on the track list)

@themastersword1621 8 months ago

I honestly love the title track from Endorama.

Only old Kreator !!

@corpse_master567 7 months ago

Cool list. 🤘Agree with most of them. ”Violent Revolution” and ”Enemy of God” though are much much better than ”Hordes of Chaos” (which is one of their worst) and Phantom Antichrist imo. Keep it up!

Dude......I've never listened to Kreator. Kreator kicks @ss!!! I don't know why but I had it in my head they were power metal. My forklift driving is going to be absolutely off the chain dangerous tomorrow once I get this pumping on my speaker.

I went a long time not listening to Endorama due to it’s reputation. Finally last year I listened to it and was surprised by how much I liked it. Of course you have to know what you’re getting into and I’m sure fans of their early days were heartbroken. I don’t think it’s bad, and I would take it over Outcast any day. Also, I like Renewal, but yeah I don’t know what Mille was thinking with the vocals. Musically it kicks ass.
