So a lot of people have advised me against using the PfP mods - i see now i have been mislead and bamboozled into believing they were a necessary addition. thanks for your feedback homies.

I love how blind Morrowind playthroughs are becoming worthwhile for content creators now.

12:15 Fun fact: my granddad's name is also Caius, and Cauis Cosades looks kind of like him, and he used to be shredded too. When I was ~10 I was so excited to see my granddad in a video game (and extra sad when Caius left)

Bless the algorithm for bringing this to me - you really have a knack for storytelling your route through games like this man, this video was great! There are plenty of adventures out there, & if any take your fancy I'd love to see a video about them from you :)

I played this on Xbox back in highschool around 2003 or so. Coming up out of the hull of the boat at the beginning and just seeing the town and everything around it was truly mindblowing to me at the time. Truly an amazing game

i love the pages of hand-written notes! 🤣 👍

Now this is how you honor the sixth house and the tribe unmourned.

38:38 Fantastic boss nas impression, for a 2nd video this is really good man, you’re really honing your craft. Keep at it!

You had the essential Morrowind experience. Great video.

God returns and just dissed Sul Matuul and his ancestors with "I was expecting an epic battle but...".

It's great seeing people experience Morrowind for the first time. Love it when the eye-opening moment hits, and the game just drags you in. There's never been anything quite like it, and it's such a shame, because with modern technology, imagine what you could do ... but alas, we're all just running after quest markers at this point, and we'll never have another game quite like Morrowind ever again.

Earned a sub. Keep up the good content, mate!

Pretty sure the youngest Telvanni councilor in the game is over 400. Probably why they're all crazy.

You have a discount josh strife style and no disrespect in that. Good video and you have a personality suited to this stay consistent brother

For a second playthrough, I would recommend installing Tamriel Rebuilt and Project Tamriel (the confusingly named sister mod)!
Tamriel Rebuilt adds much of the mainland of morrowind into the game, complete with questlines, dungeons and spells, all seamlessly integrated into vanilla, and a new DLC sized update every year or so
Project Tamriel currently consists of two mods, one adding parts of Cyrodiil and one adding parts of Skyrim, with the first release of High Rock expected next year or so, and Hammerfell in the works
With these, you basically quintuple the amount of morrowind in your morrowind, and turn it into the biggest elder scrolls game never made

You could use trainers to raise any major/minor skills and push level further. Plus misc skills count towards multiplier.
Missing Mages guild means missing on two of the most useful amulets in the entire game :D (Almsivi and Divine interventon in Ald'Ruhn branch)
You could easily restore attributes with Imperial Shrine altars, and cure diseases (except corprus, of course) with Almsivi shrines.

The beautiful thing of Morrowind is the size and scope. Something like a dozen different factions that you can join and rise through the ranks and many of them are fighting against one another so that joining one makes you the enemy of others, leading to multiple new characters trying out all the different options. I've been playing Morrowind since it first released and I'm still finding cool new shit in some random cave that I somehow have never bothered exploring before. Play a mage, play a temple healer, play a thief or assassin. Each one is viable and provides a unique perspective.

Regarding mods, I generally run pure vanilla OpenMW. I know some people love to go crazy with the graphics and such, but I just love the old school charm of the original.

The Main Quest actually sends you to all three main guilds, because the orders you got in Seyda Neen were to go to the Southwall Cornerclub in Balmora to ask for someone that could send you to Caius. The Southwall is the hangout spot for the local Thieves Guild. Very good game design in my opinion. The trick with the Boots is that Resist Magic blocks negative effects but not positive. If you had picked Breton as your starting race, their innate 50% resistance would allow you to wear the boots and have darkened vision, but still be able to see. People tend to make a Resist Magic 100% spell that lasts just a second or two. Cast it, immediately open your inv to equip the boots, and you're all good. Crassius in House Hlaalu wrote a little book you might be familiar with: Lusty Argonian Maid. Neloth also is someone you might have met, if you played the Dragonborn DLC for Skyrim and visited Solstheim.

Congrats on casting down the false gods. Time to go watch the video of the world record speedrun, which I think is down to about 2-3 minutes to kill Dagoth Ur. Ohh, and go listen to Dagoth Wave for a bit.

The dagger that you get in the beginning did an enormous damage to the Morrowind's perception for a lot of newcomers. Almost nobody builds a character with short blades as a major skill and they still tend to go into the smugglers camp and die there without having any idea that they cannot land a single hit with a skill level of 5. Author was lucky enough to pick the warrior sign, which basically gives +10% chance to land a hit, otherwise it would be a disaster.
