You were asking what folks would use moon water for, so I thought I'd give my example:

If I'm trying to manifest something successfully (using candle work, let's say) but I don't have the luxury of doing so during the time of the full moon, I put a little full moon water in a small dish and set the tealight I'm using in it to symbolize the superior manifestation properties of that moon phase, even though I'm not actually working in that moon phase. Just like taking the full moon with you, in my opinion.. Come to think of it, you actually could if you put it in a wearable vial. Oh, and you can do the same for any moon phase you want (or the moon on a night that is energetically significant to your craft—like the anniversary of your practice).

Growing up, my mother used to tell me "well one day, you can just tell your therapist what a mean mother you have". A couple decades later, I'm no longer talking to her and doing just that.

The Parker video is very old, and the mom is confirmed abusive. She hit him too.

That 14 yo boy attempting to quietly advocate for himself makes my stomach hurt. The "mom" saying "we can talk to the youth pastor" tells us everything we need to know. She said first thing, you are not living with your father. Then attempts to tell him, oh we'll talk about it, this just isnt the right way. Thats classic gaslighting. That kid and his dad knew if he went back in that house, that mom would ensure they'd never see each other again.

PAR-KER!  PAR-KER!   every time I see this clip I wish I had been able to stay calm and formulate my thoughts so well at that age.

In the full parker clip, she outright says, "ive whooped you before and ill whoop you again." She was desperately trying to manipulate the situation. I recognize those tactics.

I've seen the full Parker video before. Parker is very admirable. He stood his ground, and I'm glad that it worked out and he's doing well now. The mom and stepdad are so obnoxious, and she's such an obvious narc. She's manipulative and controlling, and it was confirmed that she got physical with the kids.

The mom that took out apartments and cars in her son’s name as a child is horrible.  Even now she doesn’t want to take responsibility for her actions. He needs to get a lawyer and go after her to get his credit cleared. Disgraceful

I find the people who post "proof" that gentle parenting doesn't work to be so immature. The whole point is to teach your child to self regulate. Of course a toddler won't be reasonable when they're sick or upset or tired, but shouting won't make them feel safe or loved.

The way the mom speaks to her son. Anger seeps into her words. Plus the way she attempts to use the baby to manipulate him? Everything is a tool to her.

Parker - the StepDad is an uber control freak and Mom lets him. Kid is tired of being ordered around like he is in the Step Dad's bootcamp and a slave. He has tried to talk to the Mom and gets gaslit and ignored. In the end, he went home with his Dad.

Whenever I see that clip with the mom in green I always get triggered. My step mom and father used to do the same thing when I refused to go over their house. So happy I dont have to deal with that anymore.

25:50 Being done parenting your adult kids: YES. I will always remember how my parents handled that. On my 18th birthday they sat me down and told me:

"You're 18 now. You're an adult. Everything that we wanted to instill in you should be there by now, but if it isn't, that's our fault. We're done parenting you, but we will ALWAYS be here for advice or guidance if you want it. But your life is your own now, and it's up to you to make your own choices. We trust you to make good ones."

And they've treated me like an equal adult ever since. My parents are goddamn unicorns and I am endlessly blessed to have them.❤

I seen the one where the son doesn't want to get out of his dad's truck. I am so glad he wasn't made to go with his mom. He is old enough to choose to live with his dad.

The messy house one, I can definitely understand. I don't even have kids, but there's been times my mental health was so bad, even taking out the trash felt completely impossible. I can't imagine struggling that bad with depression and anxiety while also having a kid on top of everything to make the mess ten times worse. And once you get to that point, crawling back out is... horrible, in every sense of the word. Truly horrible. I understand kids shouldn't be subjected to it, and I'm glad I don't have kids to be subjected to it, but I also absolutely understand how it got to that point and why it hasn't been fixed sooner.

The swearing can be even worse if the parent who is swearing happens to be any of the same parents who have rules against the child swearing. Some parents will swear in front of their kids swear, the parent will punish the kid. If you don't want your child to swear, then maybe you should lead by example and not swear yourself. Some parents' policy when it comes to swearing is hypocrisy and "do as I say, not as I do."
