Marshmallows weren’t random. You were meant to toast them on the fire that was there.

Having had horses for 32 years if one was sick I would sleep in the stable with it ,but not in comfort  like that .
Why are people saying negative  things about the pony to me it looks like the owner is giving him a really good home ,lovely shavings bed all clean lots of hay .
Basil is probably  old too .
This lady probably  takes in lamanitic  ponies and rescues them ,laminitus  is so hard to control

I hope there was a CCTV camera covering the horse as there are some sick people out there.....

The worry is that not everyone might be as nice to Basil as you are.
Imagine having a rowdy drunk couple or a family with brats that get overly pully and slappy with him.

Love your channel but this was depressing, poor Basil.  What is the point of this place?

Basil is a Shetland pony probably about 12/13hands in hight! Owning horse/pony's myself, Basil is probably prown to Laminitis hench why he is in the stable during the day, and most probably out at night! So if he has to much grass/carrots ect it can cause problems in his hooves (Laminitis is a disease of the feet of ungulates, found mostly in horses and cattle involving inflammation of the laminae. Clinical signs include foot tenderness progressing to inability to walk, increased digital pulses, and increased temperature in the hooves) - the grass has sugars in it so Having hay or soaked hay is alot better than grass - with Shetland pony's they should graze few hours a day if they do get Laminitis! So even though he looks so sad and lonely he probably isn't! I would love to stay here 💜

Basil is lovely and looked after folks bless him ,,Read @7:44 For everyone worrying thinking basil is sad , and lonely … well I get it but how many horses do you drive past in the lanes without a blink of an eye.! but as soon as one is made the main focus and attraction somewhere and people over care and seem to find faults with the situation …. I’m glad basil lives there with company instead of a lonely field … half of you still have a go on the grand national I bet 😂 lol ,just think would you rather him be in a field on a chain or here ? I know which I prefer ❤️🐴

Basil, what a great name for a horse, better than Britney 😆

You would think that they would supply you with some kind of treat like carrots to get Basil to be more interested in socializing with the guests 🥕🐴

When they do that ‘elegant’ stance they are actually having a sleep. So they can sort of sleep while they are stood up. Amazing place though.

Perhaps Basil was missing his two mates Oscar and Benji
Hence the Long Face.

Shetland pony and I've always wanted to stay in a hotel room or a room like this

Interesting place but I wouldn’t want to stay there

Spiders and beetles.....heck noooooo!!!😂

Shetland pony adz, we got 1 called bobby

It sounds like there was a lot of horsing around during this stay 😁

OH MY !! A horse, whatever next 😅

Pretty certain I put money on Basil a few years ago at Cheltenham, he was just as keen then as he is now.
Thanks again Mr Adz

Loving the new vlogs with unusual hotels etc . All the best adz appreciate the upload . My daughter would love that place but the mrs don’t do spiders .

Hey Adz this was a bit sad, felt sorry for Basil, he seems so sad :(
Don't think i could stay there seeing this :(
