This may be my favourite video I've ever filmed. I stayed overnight in a luxury lion lodge. Which is something I've always wanted to do!

These experiences are always a bit of a risk, due to the fact you may not actually see much of the lions. But fortunately for me (and you) I saw a lot of the lions! And I saw them extremely close! Just a few inches away to be precise.

I will never forget what happened at 4:30am.. It was incredible. And felt more special knowing I was the only one seeing it.

I also had amazing sunshine throughout the entire stay and ended the experience with a safari drive.

As for the location, the lion lodge was inside the West Midlands safari park.

My colleagues and I installed the foundation piles that these lodges are sat on, so it's pretty awesome to see the finished products. Certainly looks a lot different now to the bare landscape we worked on.

My daughter and I stayed at the Nairobi Lodge May 2nd/3rd this year. It felt like we had had a holiday in Africa.
I will never get over the fantastic experience it was! Expensive yes, worth every penny. Thank you WMSP.

Not sure about the expense of the lodge experience.
However the safari drive through is definitely worthwhile.
I drove through knowsley safari. There was a juvenile male lion eating a large rack of meat in the road right in front of my car and the big male came running down, roared loudly diving at the juvenile male, grabbing the large rack of meat and ran off with it. Gutted wasn't filming, but definitely an experience.

That looks absolutely incredible! That pigeon looked terrifying. I'm so jealous . Although I do get a similar experience if we leave the cat out overnight and he's meowing by the back door in the morning!

All the lions footage is amazing, especiallywhen they interact with each other.
It is very expensive but this one seems to be sort of worth it. My favorite place you've stayed at so far and I'm not sure how one can beat this.

I don’t know what i liked more. The lodge, the lions or your chilled out style of articulate commentary. A voice as smooth as chocolate that didn’t stumble, stutter or add in various erms umms or other frustrations. You’ve just gained a new subscriber!
