This week’s finds span continents and centuries. Also, it turns out, you can buy a wooden leg at a car boot sale.

This week’s haul includes a Java mask, antique furniture, Indian brass, 19th-century porcelain, and even old advertising mirrors. That's just a snapshot.

If you think British boot sales are boring… you’re about to get corrected!

Head over to my website to see the pieces I'm selling: https://www.taliesinantiques.com

Without a doubt that was an eclectic mix, well done on the finds and what an interesting lot . Thanks for sharing your knowledge it was an enjoyable watch . Hard to choose one item but that crutch has got to be near the top , it's a work of art / sculpture.

Where are the south Wales car boots? I'd love mooching around one
Enjoy your channel 😊

Love that crutch, if you can make out the name I can check through the census and see what I can come up with.

The carving with the hole in it's belly might be a slit drum. As you say South Pacific, but I'm not sure where.

Kieran, found your man, William Henry Spratt of Brooke street,he married Emily Amy Demster on August 23rd 1855 at Christ Church, Turnham- Green. I think the answer to your crutch is in the 1861 census, 14, Garaway Road, Paddington, Kensington. William H Spratt, 1827-Surgical Machinist, wife Emily .A 1834, son Henry H 1857, son John P 1857 daughter Alice E 1861 and two servants, Elizabeth Harvey and Eliza Brooke.😄To me it looks like William Henry Spratt was the maker of your crutch. I will post a bit more when I find it.
