Breaks my heart to see how little a hand-embroidered cushion is sold for.  It's not my taste, but I know it would have taken many hours of work.

I totally agree. So unfair to be letting him get away with it. If I know there are carboots that let sellers set up for hours and buyers aren't allowed in, it just puts me off going. No one wants to be at a carboot all day. Luckily the local ones near me allow buyers in the same time as sellers cars. No issues.

that throws lovely and the bowl is nice

Cheryl you are worth so much more than these scum bags. Rise above it and know that you are a good person.

Even as a male I totally agree, the best of luck with things ever being fair life’s NOT best to just go with the flow try and forget and move on says me I still have flashbacks from 20 years ago when I had agreed a price from a seller only to have this giant of a man take it from the ladies hand in front of me and purchase it at our agreed price and after commenting about it he replied well it’s in my hand now.
What could I do he was nearly twice my size so I just walked away angrily sad to say I have never forgotten.
Good luck with your future hunting.

New to your channel and enjoyed watching your video.  The little dog in the stroller (at the start) was so desperate to get your attention.  LOL  Don't forget to stop and smell the roses and pet adorable puppies.😀

Totally agree with you. Car Boots are the modern wild west, everyone is out there to get what they can in an equal competition, they even have those little wagons to haul around with them. That's what I love. You make your choices, you buy your bargains, you take your chances.
Anyone who feels the need to cheat at what is after all 'a first come first served' marketplace, really shouldn't be put up against descent people.

I never knew those lucite candlesticks had a matching base, good to know thank you 😊

It happens here in Australia too....we have been setting up and other sellers do the rounds to pick up stuff cheap and resell on their stall...we say we are n oot ready as it isn't fair.

You do a great job love your videos it's their loss 😊

Don’t get mad get even. Fight fire with fire! Go in as a vendor early. Set up a table with a few trinkets to sell, then go get those bargains before he does. If anyone complains say that you’ll stop when he does. That will really test the old boys network! Win, win. You might also get to sell some items that have been collecting dust in your eBay store and make a profit on your day. Put Taylor to work selling. Buyers won’t be able to resist her impish smile and super cute confidence😊❤

I was so excited to see this new video from you!  I feel so bad when that happens to you.  You've taken it to the managers now and I hope that fixes the problem.  It must be so irritating.  I can totally understand why it is so hard to handle, but I feel you're doing exactly the right thing.  Just keep on keeping on.  You still, in spite of him, seem to find the jewels.  You go girl, we LOVE your videos!  Thank you again.

I don’t go car boots now.No guarantees on things

That is annoying the buyers are not let in but I’ve only sold at one and it’s annoying that people were actually pulling stuff out of my car when my  back was turned.

That happens at household auctions to!

That was happening at our local car boot, they got fed up with everyone in the queue moaning, it was annoying watching dealers buying everything before we could get in, also annoying that they didn’t even unpack until half way through the boot, they ended up letting us in once the first 2, lines were set up. Personally I hate it would rather take my time with all the boots open, they should just keep to the rules.

Yes - thanks for this - We will not go there either.

Congrats on buying a house! Hopefully you show us!

lv your vids..i feel its getting a mans world..last week i had asked for a box in a ladies car, just with homeware stuff..she asked her hubby to get it out for me, put it in front of me and a reseller, literally pushed in front me , knocked things off my trolley as well, i went mad at him, but the hubby said nothing to him , just let him go through the box..i just walked off i really cant be bothered any more..its greed and ignorance..keep your chin up and go elsewhere..sod em !! let them shake each others wotsits !!;0) keep going with the vids and the bargain hunting, lv seeing your goodies! x

Just sick of the aggressive men at car boots these days.  30mph keeping close to the stalls, won’t give way to anyone else … just dead ignorant.  The other week I was just stood looking at stuff on a stall when one literally slammed into me.  When I said something to him he accused me of being rude !  This is Twin Oaks, used to be a decent car boot but now it’s just madness there.
