Azula’s breakdown scene was actually real crying. The voice actor of Azula said she can't watch that scene.

I hope you don't take this in a bad way, but it was beautiful seeing you cry, specially towards Azula. You surely have a big heart.

Roku: You must be decisive.
Kuruk: You must actively shape your destiny.
Yang Chen: You must do what it right, even if it goes against your nature.

Kyoshi: You gonna have to murder a dude.

Well deserved tear bending

Iroh: "It will be another Brother killing a Brother"
Also, Iroh: "Go get Azula, kick her ass Zuko"

Bumi way back in episode 5: "You need to face the fire lord and when you do i hope you will think like a mad genius",i guess he took that to heart

Such a great watch! It's so nice to see some sympathy for Azula at the end! She's been through so much 😭❤

Azula's breakdown is the most heartbreaking moment in the whole show imo, she's only 14 its just tragic. When I was a kid I didn't get it but rewatching it as an adult hits me in the feels.

The final Agni Kai is probably my favourite fight in this entire show, maybe in all of cartoon history. It's so beautiful

Sokka:”Appa ATE MOMO!”

Zuko:”GET OUT OF THE BISON’S MOUTH SOKKA!” Lmao, he sounds so matter of fact about it.

Fun fact: Master Piandao refused to train the fire nation army exclusively, so he was dubbed a deserter. After they tried and failed to arrest him(sending a hundred men that he defeated), they decided to leave him be.

26:34 Tears, every time.

“They’ve really avoided killing people…”
stares in Air Nomad genocide

Everytime the agni kai music hits with that heavy emotion I get chills, azula and Zuko's showdown is soo emotional

The hundred year war began when friends became enemies
But it ended when enemies became friends.

One of my favorite unintentionally funny moments is when Zuko after seeing Azula (with her wackass hair, tears in her eyes, shaking with unhinged laughter) says, lhmmm I suspect something’s… off with her 🤔.” Like YEAH dude. Great detective work there.

What i just realized after so many rewatched during the final agni kai. Notice how zuko stands at the exact same spot the whole time, while azula is moving around everywhere. Kinda symbolizing how zuko is now 100% sure of himself, sure who he is, what he wants and what he thinks his destiny is. One hundred percent grounded with an unshakable will. None of azulas attacks could move him even an inch. Whereas azula going everwhere, trying everything, symbolizing how she is in absolute emotional and psychological disorder. She doesnt know anymore who she is or what she really wants

I love that Katara used the fire breath technique (the one she saw Zuko use to melt the ice when she trapped him in the season 1 finale) to beat Azula, not only because it's a diss to Azula to beat her with a fire bending technique even she didn't know (because Iroh taught it to Zuko), but also it shows the culmination in Katara's arc, securing victory by finally embracing an aspect of fire bending and using it for good, similar to how Iroh learned lightning redirection from studying water bending.

ATLA really brings out the best of tearbender within us

@EdgarRetana-r3s 5 months ago

I heard someone mention that Toph perfected her sandbending by this point so a situation like the one that happened in the desert with Appa would never happen again 😢 I consider it canon

Yeah, Yangchen was not the Air Nomad to ask that question, she was one of the most brutal Avatars in history, she caused so much fear among the world that it led to a rise in Dark Spirits that Kurok had to deal with, and he didn't want to stain Yangchen's reputation so he didn't even tell anyone, not even his own friends, which made everyone think he was just lazy.
