Once you have been ghosted do not play mind games, and move on quickly as the ghoster has as well.

I've been "ghosted" by people with whom I had become friendly with.  All of a sudden they walk right by me with a smile on their face, and say nothing like you don't exist.  That really hurts.  I think the hurt is less painful if they 'ghost' you thru a dating app.  On the other hand I have "ghosted" people I've known for years, even family members because they became so "toxic" to me in my life.  I've "ghosted" my own sister who believed that I should be married to a woman (she adopted this belief after her adult children changed her mind about her gay brother.   When you do the 'ghosting' of family members,  who originally ghosted you, it hurts really deeply, because you want deeply to fix it.  But you sadly realize that is never going to happen.

I'm Always the last one to text and if I don't hear anything back, I don't double text. That's just how it is. I don't get mad or anything. Lol literally, I move on very easily hahaha 😂

So many gay guys always think, hmm…maybe, I can do even better. Sometimes it could be something so little, that didn’t agree with them. Another problem is, so many gay guys don’t have the guts to be out of the closet. Still, the majority of gay guys, are still at least somewhat in the closet. Yes! It does take guts to be your own man, and be who you are, and not what you think others want you to be.

I find that people make time for what's important to them no matter how seemingly busy they may be. When it's clear that the interest level isn't mutual, I simply stop making an effort to keep the communication alive, and I step away.

Everyone is so sure there's someone better around the corner, and 98% of them/us never that better guy and are swiftly in middle age and lonely.  We have nobody to thank but ourselves, and to warn the younger ones, don't be so critical; you'll be here in a blink!!

Worse when they are all over you looking for something, and the moment you give in and give them what they want, and then nothing!!

I think there is another dimension to the rejection experience:  that rejection itself can become a tool for self-growth.  When we don't give in to self-pity or despair, we can learn to be stronger, more self-reliant, and more independent.  We can understand that "I don't NEED that other person," tha that other person "does not complete me," that "I don't need that other person to find happiness and fulfillment."  The more mature attitude, I believe, is to evaulate "How can I make a difference in someone else's life?"  This kind of maturity will define your strengths and interests, and when others are attracted to you, it will be for more solid reasons.

Oh come on - this is hardly just a gay issue - my entire family and former work culture both operated like this - it’s the evil age we now live in

It’s not just the gay community. It’s just the community at large don’t take it personal just move on

It's distressing, frustrating, confusing etc.  Two keys to survival:  1) It's not about you, and 2) You do it, too.  We see it differently when we do it, but is it really that different?  Give 'em a royal FU and move on. 😊

Why ask why? Main thing to remember about being ghosted is it's about the other man. His issues. It's usually never about the ghosted party. Also consider that by ghosting someone this person has revealed a crucial element of his character. He's really done you a service by eliminating himself from your dating pool

I don't ghost, even if the chemistry for love isn't there, I'm a firm believer that we can have a connection of friendship if not a connection of love. But I'm unsure if this mindset is common :(

I always learn about myself from each video. I’ve never actually been ghosted (yet) but I have seen men who were my age who probably brought less to the table than I do (I’m assuming, I’m not an egotist), who never responded to my initial contact. I’m not hung up on someone’s appearance or their situation. I am 100% honest and I’ve learned quickly that many of the guys in the apps understate their age and are full of B.S.  I try to give everyone a chance, but I am not exactly overwhelmed with possibilities.

Sometimes it is so simple that we can not comprehend, because we are complicated. 🙂I say sensitive, it´s not a bad thing. Learn not to expect.
