The world is duller without Barry.

You know you're doing something right when a young guy comes up and says "you're an ICON' and then the next shot is 2 old women laughing along. What a lovely time capsule this documentary is. RIP BARRY

I had absolutely no idea about his other characters until this documentary.

Barry is a prime example of how genius comes in many shapes and forms , may he rest in peace comforted by his accolades and achievements.

Bingewatching all the Barry Humphries I can find.   The world is a duller place without you .RIP😢

I live in the USA so didn't  grow up even hearing about Barry or Edna let alone seeing him. It's only within last 10 years that I've seen bits and pieces of his act.  But I can see he was a very intelligent and creative man.

He was a good looking guy.

No one will ever match the success Barry Humphries's had in Comedy. The depth and detail he layered into his characters is remarkable. Genius performer

One of the greatest comedians of all time. There should be a health warning on the doors before every one of his shows because it is so funny it's painful.

It takes great GENIUS, to bring laughter to many different types of people... IN ONE SITTING. The world has given us these geniuses every now and then... They're here for a while... we all laugh 😂... and then... they are gone 💔...
Barry Humphries, you & your beloved characters... will be missed. Indeed, VERY missed. Thanks for the memories

Humphries is a genius actor who can unleash characters that are alive without needing a master script.

Having known Dame Edna all these years it’s nice to meet Barry Humphries. As to those people saying he is boring next to his characters I beg to differ. If you were to meet him not knowing his characters you would be charmed by such an eccentric witty, arty fellow. His characters are just over the top!

Thanks for airing this. Documentary. He was a gem and is sorely  👏👏👏.  May he RIP

I grew up in the suburbs in the US and have since spent 40 of my 71 years escaping the boredom of it by living outside my home country. I get that part of what drives Humphries.

Half of my family is Aussie as Mum was born and raised in Broken Hill, NSW. I have been watching Dame Edna since I was little.

There is no-one like Barry. Unique.  An absolute treasure, fbulous. An icon.
