Hi! I'm Tuma — I'm divorced, in my 30s, and building a new life instead of going back to being a salaryman. 🇯🇵
Finishing work early and opening my izakaya at home tonight. 🎉
Endless cucumber, avocado yukhoe, kamaboko with wasabi cream cheese, and a seasonal autumn beer.
Also: I bought the cheap avocado and regretted it immediately. 🥑😭
While I eat, I'll talk about what my divorce taught me.
I hope you enjoy a quiet night at my home izakaya with me. 🌙

In Japan, once you turn 30, you often feel pressure to get married — from yourself and from those around you.
Is it the same in your country? 🤔
