It's highly commendable that you are one of the few YouTube influencers who actually takes the time and effort to reply to pretty much all comments that are left to your posts 😊

You are an honest reviewer whose reviews I always look forward to as the final verdict.

Really appreciate your hard work, due diligence, and take on audio!

Thank you for your very insightful reviews. I find them most helpful in navigating the audiophile world. Your explanation of the different connections was a real bonus and is often taken for granted by many other reviewers. Well done. 👍

Good info here on this product. Most reviewers rave about it. Appreciate your details with the sound differences of connections.

As you rate your Exposure Pre / Mono blocks so highly, I would love to see a review of the current equivalent Exposure offering as a comparison.  Have Exposure made or loss ground?

Pleased to hear this - hats off to Alvin

I believe many would like to see your review of the Galion A20—in particular, which speaker and pre-amp pairings work well with it. You are my most trusted reviewer—great work.

Would like to see a review of the Hifi rose RD160 DAC

Very good rewiew , best laiV harmony dac on youtube , thanks !

DAC's sure have become a prominent part of audio over the last several years as more and more of the listening world become educated and aware of their potential to change what we hear.  Even 10 yrs ago many people would not have known or thought of them as part of a sound system. Thank you for a great review!

I heard about three weeks ago that Alvin is not supporting Denafrips anymore, I would never buy another Denafrips, they are sold as work in progress, I had three and all boxes came nearly broken and insufficient to support the weight of the dac. One came with scratched top plate which had to be replaced, I was on the Facebook page for a while and all the problems that people were having put me off the product.

Great and comprehensive review sir, excellent work thanx a million . Appreciate the honest and realistic outlook 🙏🏽👍🏽

The Cyan 2 is halve the price and comes close 🤔 Now the Gustard R30 with volume seems to be the winner at the moment 🤔 The more expensive Amber and the AAdac with volume are probably even more real and analog though 🤔

‘Highly recommended “ you say. I like it, I own it and I enjoy it! Thanks for your positive review!

Yay fresh review

As the Laiv Harmony and the Denafrips Pontus are in a similar price range (Perhaps also the Holo Audio Cyan), it would be intreresting to hear a comparison of these DACs connected to the Denafrips Iris DDC so you could use the I2S input on each DAC.

As always….a great review with solid info and explanations. I enjoy balancing your reviews with some of the hyped up ones.  Very enjoyable.  Thanks

The most insightful and trustworthy review to me.

I would like to see a review of an analogue preamp within 500-1.000€ range. Whichever you consider worth.

Thanks for a very thorough review of the new LAiV Harmony DAC.

What all the reviewers have failed to mention that this DAC does not handle DSD files natively, which may not be of interest to many consumers. Weng Fai replied the following "Thank you for your question about the DSD. The Harmony DAC is an R-2R DAC that processes multi-bit signals. When it receives 1-bit signals from DSD, these are reconstructed into multi-bit signals via FPGA before being passed to the R-2R ladder array network. All DSD signals will be reconstructed to the highest sampling rate, either 705.6kHz or 768kHz, depending on whether the DSD multiplier is a multiple of 44.1kHz or 48kHz. We are well aware of the desire of audiophiles and we are working on having this capability in future products."
Just thought I'd share that with you.
