UPDATE: There is a faster way to do this now that involves avatars and stuff if you wanted to do this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aeebq-Tdh0k

dont tell Bringus that theres even a more easier version of Badupdate that came out like 3 days ago that requires you to do NOTHING, its a profile that unlocks the xbox as soon as the dashboard loads.

The XeUnshackle animation makes me feel like a kid who just used a toaster for the first time.

It kept yelling at you to plug in an Xbox 360 hard drive when trying to boot an Original Xbox game because the Original Xbox Emulator is built into the official Hard Drives. you can, with some work manually make your own replacement drive with the emulator if you really needed it.

@MrMario2011 1 year ago

Sir, get yourself an internal HDD for that thing! You'll notice everything will just tend to work with that added in 🤣

Aside from that, I'm not surprised you grabbed a Corona, the Winchester consoles are harder to find than you'd expect because... Well, how many people were buying brand new 360s in 2014?

Very much appreciate the shout-out 🖤

4:20 the reason you can't just use a flash drive is that the xbox emulator was on the hard drive, since the internal storage is so tiny lol. Such a pain

FYI, that spider carcass is just a molt. You can tell by how light it is.

11:39 The original Kinect is actually super useful (for everything except playing Kinect games). Hook it up to your PC and download the devkit and there's a ton of fun projects you can use with it. One of my favorites is motion tracking in Gmod

You know what's even more wild? They just released a new version of the exploit in the last week that uses the avatars, so you don't even need Rock Band Blitz anymore.

When the scene makes a big discovery, it just snowballs after that. It's freaking cool.

without a hdd a 360 with most non stock software is kinda useless as most 360 homebrew assumes you have a hdd and you need the og xbox compatibility files on the 360 hdd to have it function so ya get a hdd for it or ssd as is now possible or wait a bit for the softmod that is coming soon(tm)

03:33 Was not expecting to see "Video Game Connection" associated with Mr. Bringus today. Used to go there a lot as it was about an hour away from where I live. Nice people, they'd cut deals when you bought bulk(at least for me). Closed what seems like forever ago, pre-pandemic anyway. Regardless, thanks for the nostalgia trip!

why is this in he second channel this video has main channel quality

@Snoc06 1 year ago

10:02 Something to note about Macs, sometimes things don't work right if you don't eject the drive. If you used the MacBook to copy it and didn't eject it, that's probably why it says "0 B".

@deadair32101 1 year ago

The reason most of the homebrew crashed is a lot of them are made with the assumption that a hdd is connected and set up, it's also (I'm pretty sure) why the homebrew store failed to install things.
