Thanks for the demo. Just on a side note, I would tip out a little calibration solution into a separate beaker or something rather than dipping in the probe or you may cause the buffering solution PH to change.
Get well soon mate ! Your mixing with leperβs passing on diseases, love that doseβ machine great idea. . Iβve got one of those doses me up with spicy rum ππππ₯³π₯³
Nice work there lee, I would definitely invest in that if I had to buffer up but my ph sits around 8.2-8.3 so I don't need it. I bet that was stressful doing that media with the showers being on that ledge lol no wonder you didn't film it. Also I just added up how much that media cost you, and I went light headed and felt sick for a few seconds ππ
Nice upgrades to the pond Lee, looks like it will help with your KH issue. I have similar issue with my water here, but will probably just manage it myself given the little puddle I have just now π Hope you feel better soon mateβ¦. π€§ π€πΌ
I've seen I in a film π€π€£. Ph controller seems to be more bang for buck then, good to know as I was looking at the other one. So the pH version will also save me a job on maintenance. π Sickening price for bhm, but you get what you pay for. Wouldn't fancy filling them without a swimming cap haha.
Looks good, if you are finding you are getting through too much bi-carb which has a ph of 8.5 then you can always move to kalkwasser (limewater) which is dirt cheap and has a ph of 12.4 and raises alkalinity and calcium in equal measure, but needs to be kept air tight otherwise loses potency, like all these things need to keep the probe calibrated
Man flu, come on tuffen up,, all this winging,,,, I want one of them the ph doser not the soldier that's dosed up, lol,, great update as per usual, cheers Terry,
Good luck with the BlueLab dosing pump. It kept erroring on my pond. When I called Blue Lab they told me it wasn't designed for koi ponds and it should only be used on systems like small marine tanks under 100 gallons.
