Bluelab pH Controller ft. James from Bluelab | DISCOVER

GroWell Horticulture

James from Bluelab shows us how this clever little kit both monitors and adjusts pH levels for you.
It’s completely plant safe, with a dosing lockout feature to prevent over-dosing. If there’s a power loss, your system will automatically continue dosing once it’s been restarted.
It’s easy to use with an on-screen guide. Simply set it up and forget about it, knowing the pH is taken care of.

Good content but could you do one with no background music. It's hard to focus on your words

For those who have a small water volume and wish to allow the pH to drift or fluctuate between 5.7-6.2 you can set the target pH at 6.2 and then over dose so it drops to 5.7 and it will not dose again until it hits 6.2.

i was tempted by one until I hear the end where it goes into alarm mode after 15 cyles which can only be a maximum of 15hrs or much less of faster systems, so basically if a system remains stable for a few hrs it switches off. Does that not defeat the purpose of this doing the management if every day you have to take it out of alarm. the PH might take longer to increases than 15 cycles at whih point this stops working and is a £600 paper weight doing nothing until you have to manually intervene.

Is there any way to mute the high and low alarm. I hear it’s very loud, wouldn’t want it going off at 2am if trying to be low key

I keep seeing this controller and controller connect for sale yet the connect version is cheaper? I thought it was the newer model and more expensive due to wifi?

How do we get the display piece for the calibration solutions in the first part of the video

Growing 24/7 this run on autoflowers and they are going crazy.. wanted to try it this run. I was always 20/4 before but besides the power my tent stays super stable and VPD fluctuates at most .04 while tents closed!!!

So I have to set it so that it doses 0.1ml, but it does it in half doses to get there? Why not just make it dose once and then have a delay timer? It's not like it will adjust the dose based on what it found the end result to be..that just makes it more likely to be wrong. I'm assuming that's just the earliest it can dose again... But that doesn't really Mena it won't overshoot... If it hits 5.9ph it's still above 5.8 so it's going to drop me to 5.7ph...

So I basically have to find out how much I need to dose 0.2ml from a starting point of 5.8ph...and see how many minutes it takes to get to 6.0ph. Doesn't sound like a smart device... It just has a delay and trigger...

this unit made me crazy when set to ph up the ph was at 5.9 changed it to acidic and the ph was most of the time at 5.7 but never 5.8 with an on time of 1sec..... i had to manually correct it everyday so the unit was useless returned it and bought a around the clock ph/temp/tds monitor instead....i would recommend it if it was a complete unit with ph up and down
