They're working on a new Huntdown. The original was so good!

The action on Gunstar heroes was crazy and then the mini games added more replay value... Me and a friend would play that game for hours on Genesis

Oh, man. Midnight Resistance. That sure takes me back to my teenage years when my friends and I would leave school early during final exams week and, as a way to decompress before spending the rest of the day studying for the following exam, we'd go grab lunch at some fast food place and then go to the Arcade to play stuff like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Shadow Dancer, Afterburner II, Street Fighter II, Final Fight and Midnight Resitance.

That rotating joystick cap was mind-blowing after growing up playing Contra on the NES. Another arcade game that innovated in a related genre was Smash TV, which was the first Twin Stick Shooter I ever saw. I have a friend that still randomly yells, "Big money! Big prizes! I love it!"

Super Cyborg is a fantastic game that used to go on sale regularly.  I’m not sure if they still run sales but it’s worth it at full price.

Dinosaurs For Hire is a game in need of a comeback

This is what the last GI Joe game should have been like.

I loved Midnight Resistance, back in the day. I never played it on the arcades, but on the Genesis/Megadrive, where it was perfectly ported. I think it was the second Genesis game I played, and loved every moment of it.

These games looks awesome and I never heard of them ! Thanks for the video!

Blazing Chrome has one of the best ending songs ever

Excellent episode!  😊

Love GunStar Heroes and especially Midnight Resistance luckily for me as a kid I got to play this at arcade’s here in Australia back in the 1992 also yeah the stick control was something new back then to experience and the Sega MD/GEN port was pretty great but it lack the 2player mode.
👍 great video

When the list began with Gunstar Heroes I knew it was going to be a stellar list. I was right. Excellent video! 🥰

Thanks for sharing this now I know what can I play.

I played Midnight Resistance SO much in arcades, back in the days, completed too. That rotary joystick was amazing!!!

So many good ones 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Dinosaur Fir Hire was dope and that’s why I loved the Genesis so much they got those crazy games from the 1990s.

Love the shout and appreciation of Gunstar Heroes. It’s in my top 10 all time across all systems. It’s an experience that makes you ask why you are so limited on ways to attack the opponents on other games (at least back in 1993). The Dice Palace is also one of the coolest levels in game design.

Iron Meat has a memorable soundtrack, I still listen to

Also, I prefer the retro graphics look compared to modern graphics

playing SilkSong at the moment. but these games looks really good, thx for recommendations

Elevator Action Returns would deserve a mention...
