The costume designers did not mess around with Anne Of Cleves wardrobe. The headdress she wore when she was introduced to Henry is STUNNING!

You know even in real life, I have this feeling Anne of Cleves was not ‘ugly’. Henry just did not want to marry her.

For not being an actress, I think Joss Stone does a really great job of portraying Anne of Cleves.

When Anna fell to her knees, it wasn't out of heartbreak, it was out of relief that she got out of the marriage and kept her head. We know that Catherine Parr was the survivor but Anna was the true survivor.

Henry could not afford to fall out with the cleves’ family and MUCH LESS harm anne. She was technically untouchable in that aspect. To her  advantage that is why he remained civil with her and gifted her many things after their marriage was annulled. Anne knew this, she might’ve been stressed but not scared of death.

What I love about Anne of Cleves is that she was the first wife to show equal love and kindness to both Mary and Elizabeth and not one or the other because she wasn’t prejudiced or felt threatened by one of the girls, like Anne Boleyn and Jane Seymour. (Anne Boleyn obviously felt threatened by Mary because she was still considered by many to be the legitimate heir above Elizabeth, and Jane preferred Mary because she was loyal to her mother Catherine of Aragon and didn’t care much for Elizabeth because she was her predecessors and her former rival’s daughter) She just saw them as her wonderful and beautiful stepdaughters and wanted to treat them with the same love and respect they deserve.

Anne surely was very lucky to have gotten the divorce she lived to 42 dieing of cancer well after Henry's rule she was very close to Henry's children even being in Mary's coronation after jane grey's 9 day rule she outlived henry and all his other wives catherine parr only lived for 17 months after Henry's death so anne really was the true wife that survived that overgrown king Henry

I dont really understand the purpose of randomly cutting off the scenes to a point where the dialogs dont make sense anymore. Some scenes are already cut of after a few seconds without any context at all. Why putting in a 2 second long clip that is cut during a dialog and making it practically "useless" because they don't even get to finish the first word of their line...
