The Andrew Neil Report

On this edition of The Andrew Neil Report, the veteran broadcaster and his old friend and colleague Fraser Nelson react to Andy Burnham's landmark speech at the Labour Party Conference. It was certainly radical, passionate and threw up one or two surprises. Yet all of the key policies were being lined up for the next general election and subsequent parliament. With a tough Winter ahead, what can the prime minister office the country right now? This is The Andrew Neil Report.

In Orwell's 1984, Winston works for the Ministry of Truth and part of his job is to falsify the truth until people really believe it, this is what Andy Pandy and the left are doing all the time these days. How can people still think that Labour is worth voting for! God help us!!

Did I hear someone say that if the Government won't see sense and tackle the deficit the BondMarket will do it for them.

Nothing these people say is of use. The only thing I want to hear from any representative of the Labor party is 'Goodbye'

The absolute last thing the country needs at the moment is a Labour government.

The politics of failure and stagnation. It won’t end well.

Whilst Burnham may have been reduced to tears, I’m reduced to tears over the retirement of misery I will endure under socialism.

Didn’t expect anything else from another UN/WEF puppet.

He's very proud that his Mum n Dad bought their council house that he grew up in, just keeps forgetting to thank Maggie for it. People forget the social mobility uplift that suddenly owning a house brought for these staunch Labour supporters, they weren't so Red they wouldn't buty the house and lock others out in the future.

Unelected Mayor from Manchester. That's our ridiculous constitution.

Everyone, including mr Niel, has missed the most important point of all, Burnham did not once say he would STOP THE BOATS! No once. So that means, at an average influx of say 30,000 a year that by the next election Britain will have another 90,000 illegal immigrants living and eating at our expense, wonderful, so that will cost us, the people who go to work and who pay their taxes, another £6BILLION!!!

This is not going to work, we have NO money, no navy, no defence, no GDP, no money in our pockets. Sorry Burnham this will be you sailing on the Titanic, can you drop me off at the iceberg before you hit it!!! This is a disaster!

I remember seeing this film back in the 70s, it was bad then, and the remake looks like it'll be just as bad, if not worse. God help us.

This will be the last Labour regime this country has for generations.

As a working class man from Liverpool, I despise everything about Labour. I take comfort that this will probably be the Last Labour Government we will ever see!!!
