I mispronounced Neberus my bad 😒

For what I undestood in the game the augurs are kinda like the camarilla from vampire: the masquerade and Brencis did a massive masquerade breach by revealing his nature to humans and ruling openly over them, he exposed the existence of vampires to humanity and they wanted him dead for it, Isbrand mentions that he broke every law they live by and Brencis says he didn't come out of the shadows until humanity was weak from the black plague, which is exactly why vampires in vtm don't simply take over humanity despite being more powerful, because we vastly outnumber them.

I have a feeling Dawnwalker is turning into an Assassin's creed meets Vampire the Masquerade hybrid and I'm all for it! 😮😮😮

Saint Mihai’s symbol on his tomb and the augurs insignia are the same - make of that what you want

I interacted with him in Laslea in the epilogue morning.

I had invited both Brencis and Xanthe. After convo with Neberu-

Brencis: "Meddling Swine!"
Xanthe: "He is formidable, no one has bested him."

I need a sequel for this game, yesterday.

I love how there's so much lore potential that has not been exposition dumbed to us. They really laid a lot of ways for potential sequels and prequels.
And the whole Augur society makes me think of Templars vs. Assassin in AC. They even opened a potential for a game set in anywhere anytime. I thought of AC even just thanks to the Bracers that are actually weapons for claws.

There is a letter you can find in laslea from Neberu to lycra, it's in a graveyard area in one of the top corners.

Im obsessed with this game! I already want a sequel 😂

The whole reason I invited Isbrend in was I figured he would drop me some information about the Augurs or something. Instead I got old man yells at clouds and caves.

Neberu says himself that he was on his way to put boots to ass in the Vale and that Coen beat him to it. Brencis was going down either way.

Another interesting topic is the all ready dead one-armed werewolf we encountered and took his bracers from a chest next to his body. That actually makes me think that we might encounter werewolves in the future as well!

5:04 You can actually talk with Neberu in Laslea in the morning, which then tips Coen off when they meet at night that he's a dawnwalker. Also he mentions the role of Arbiter which is the name of the armor he gives you. I think Arbiter is also a rank. I think it wouldn't be as 'low' as a 'agent' as you put it but maybe on the same level as Lacra but while she's a bit more of a 'scout' a Arbiter would be akin to a weapon, specifically tasked to eliminate threats.

If the next game jumps straight into our present day (the 21st century), I’ll be disappointed in the project. They have an amazing foundation for a massive saga - they could explore a completely new setting in each subsequent game and showcase different eras. For instance, moving century by century through different countries before finally reaching modern times.

I feel this game is made upon a VtM: Dark Ages campaign that the team played and liked so much that they just couldn’t shake it off their heads

I love the idea of them jumping into current timeline, but I would've loved a trilogy and a second game taking place somewhere during renaissance, or even industrial revolution perhaps. I was criticizing the combat in gameplay trailers and reviews, I take it back, the combat was awesome. The story is so compelling and the lore is deep, I absolutely love it, such a huge potential this saga has. From world exploration, to side quests, to the main character Cohen, to enemies, everything is just so fun. It lacks variety tho, from spells and skills, to enemy types and their moveset, boss fights, random encounter dialogues (had moments where Cohen would straight up call a dead woman's body a vrahkiri soldier and a he lol), etc. lots to fix and change, but hey It's their first game. There's so many endings, I am worried how well and/or If It's even possible to tie these choices to other future Dawnwalker games or is there just one canon ending? Which imo is useless work and time spent, just make a one canon ending and work on other things to make the gameplay/world better (add more customization for Cohen, hair, beard, etc.). But in general I'ts been a while since I had so much fun playing a video game. You go Poland, honestly I'm shocked how many awesome games they produce. From Layers of Fear, Dying Light, Witcher, Cyberpunk to this... Awesome video BranWolf, subscribed.

if i had to guess arbiters are sent by the augurs to deal with a situation that breaks their rules. Cohen calls lacra his first guide so i imagine guides are teachers to the new recruits. I doubt lacra is an arbiter herself more likely a rank lower since Neberus was being dispatched to deal with the situation. Overall it's going to be nice to see cohen grow and learn throughout the ages, i wonder if we will meet "Dracula" fighting the ottomans or perhaps something in the Victorian era, i don't mind if the series ends in modern as long as how we get there is fun.

I think ther Augers / Council is exclusively dawnwalkers and that they from time to time employ regular Vrakhiri like lacra. This is because of two reasons:
(1) their seal/logo. It looks like the balancing scales that lady justice holds but it’s a sun and moons other side, which I infer as meaning they are a balance to what I’m going to mention in (2) i.e. dawn walkers

(2) So there’s a book, I believe in St Tyna’s Covenant, that talks about how two gods used their saliva or something to bring humanity into existence, and another unnamed god used their blood to bring Vrakhiri into existence. The Vrakhiri then rebelled against the gods and brough chaos into the world. Some spider headed god lady thing then took a Vrakhiri fang and wrapped it in her webbing to create the first dawn walker to bring BALANCE back to the world (their seal).

So I think the Augers are a group of ancient Dawnwalkers tasked with maintaining a balance in the world between, at a minimum, humanity and Vrakhiri. Just a spit ball though

Its fairly obvious its just a group of vampires who try to keep their kind in the shadows and stop any of their own kind from doing something stupid like Brencis. Also seems like they blackmail and bribe powerful vampires to work as agents for them like Lacre and the future games will focus on coen being forced to do their dirty work and presumably in the modern day he escapes from them but is being hunted down.

I have feeling 2 will be the time jump and then 3 a prequel to 2 showing what Coen did between those years.

The Augurs give me Camarilla vibes from Vampire the Masquerade. Which got me thinking, how cool would it be if the sequel to Blood of the Dawnwalker took place in modern times, and recaptured the magic of VTM:B1?
