Pattinson is in his Nicholas Cage era.

Merritt Wever was the standout for me. I hope she gets a nom.

I saw Primetime this afternoon, and have to disagree with you about Robert Pattinson's Best Actor chances for Primetime. Even when he's not onscreen, you're thinking about Hansen; his presence looms over and permeates the story.

My sister-in-law's brother-in-law was busted on this show. Turns out he sexually abused his own kids (male and female) as well. His exposal and imprisonment were good for everyone. A true predator.

Sounds like you never saw Predators! It's an amazing documentary that explores the themes (and frankly, events) of Primetime much more effectively.

Another thing I really loved about this movie was the score

Thanks, Brian! So excited to see this movie 🙏🏻

It’s crazy you mentioned Nightcrawler in this I just watched that for the first time before seeing this and it was a complete coincidence.

Hi Brian - Besides Nurse Jackie, Wever gives 2 other STELLAR performances in television miniseries:
(1) Godless (she got 1 of her 3 Emmys for this one); and (2) Unbelievable (a true crime drama on Netflix), in which she starred along with the inimitable Toni Collette. If you haven't seen the latter, you MUST WATCH IT.

Skyler is fantastic in the righteous gemstones and gets to show good dramatic chops

I loved the Cinematography and Editing. I feel like it should be in the race for nominations in those categories

Pattinson is ready for an oscar🥇

Honestly, I think Pattinson's best performance of the year is in... The Drama. Lots of range, very naturalistic, no schtick. I loathe this notion that 'if he's not going to get in Leading Actor for Primetime because the category is stacked, we hope he'll get in Supporting Actor for (his lesser performance in) The Odyssey since it's a more wide-open category.' I would think as a person who loves to dissect why famous stars haven't won or even been nominated for Oscars, you'd understand how that practice is problematic!

I find it hard to believe this movie would surpass the brilliant doc 'Predators' on the same subject.

Yeah!!! I was waiting to finish watching that I love Merritt Wever since Nurse Jackie and that she is underrated, I am glad you have the same POV :D

merritt wever needs an oscar nomination

Skyler’s next film is “Focker in Law” sadly

reminded me of the show "unreal". An oscar nom is definitely deserved for robert

Chris Hansen has denounced this movie; saying it is over 90% fiction and way over the top.

I first knew Gisondo from the tv show, Psych.  He was the second actor to play a younger version of the main character, Shawn Spencer.
