Steve Buscemi not having a single nomination is unbelievable. Really hope he will be nominated this year.

Two of my favorite actors still living. Can’t wait to see it.

So excited for this one !

Going to watch it once it comes out on my country.

3 Billboards got two best supporting actor - Rockwell & Harrelson

Banshees of  Inisherin -  Gleeson & Keoghan

Glad to hear youre so high on this one.

One of my most anticipated movie of the year. I’ve been seeing the trailer in front of most movies I’ve watched, and I finally want to see it.

Can't wait to see this. I will be so happy if Malkovich gets the nomination and win. He should have been nominated for BJM. How cool it would have been if he had been nominated for playing ( a version of) himself.

BTW, you mentioned "Banshees" getting two Supporting Actor nods, but "Three Billboards" also got two. Fingers crossed for Buscemi in addition to Rockwell. It is egregious he's never received a nomination,, especially for "Ghost World". Also, an overlooked performance of his was for "Trees Lounge", which he also directed, and of course "Fargo", in the same year.

I didn’t think it was anything all that new for McDonagh, but I enjoyed it a lot. 8/10 for me
Malkovich’s performance is truly stunning, the scene at the beach broke me

Malkovich and Buscemi best actors who deserve their own Oscars…this is the time…this is the moment! Give them the award!!!

Just waiting to watch it here in Chile!!!🇨🇱 ❤

Thank you brian 💐💐💐 about wild horse nine

If it really wins Actor and Screenplay then it will be a threat to win best picture, the recent films to do that are Sinners, Anora and EEAAO

My hope is that the invite is also in the running for screenplay! That was amazing too. Haven’t seen this one yet

Great review, Brian. I’ve seen the trailer so many times and it looks like a hoot.

I truly do believe that Best Actor is a three-horse race between three long overdue Actors in Tom Cruise, John Malkovich, and Myaaaaatttt  Daaayyyymooon.  And if Robert Pattenson and Ryan Gosling happen to join them, it would be an exciting race to be sure between five men who had never won before, one of which had never even been nominated before, so I do believe for that reason that Pattenson would be in last place.

Which is why I think Paul Giamatti should go Supporting instead of Lead, because then he'd practically be a lock to win as well.

Id definitely vote Valmont for Oscar Gold in this film. I think Cruise has street cred but Malkovich is in the pantheon right below DDL. 🏆🌟

Malkovich in Sheltering Sky as well.

What about Tom Waits?

I am excited about it. I really hope I don’t have to see the trailer again though.
