We wrap up our stay at the Grand Canyon with a final look back at our mule ride along the rim, then hit the road for a two-day, 700-mile push into California. Along the way, we fuel up with our Open Roads discount program, cross the state line, and get a pleasant surprise at our Harvest Host stop at Guidos @ The Hangar. Then comes the real challenge of this episode: towing our big rig through the hairpin turns of California 49 between Mariposa and Moccasin, not fully sure what we were driving into, followed by even more nerve-wracking curves on California 120 from Moccasin to Groveland. We check our brakes, fix a stubborn pantry door, and inch closer to Yosemite where the girls will be joining us for Father's Day.
