"When it comes to Australian platforming mascots, a certain Tasmanian tiger is probably the first thing to come to mind..."

RIP Crash Bandicoot

Everyone knows that wild kangaroos have the ability to extend their necks. They inherited that from their ancestors:  The giraffe.

Tiny developers getting excited over small goals is like, so cute. Like puppies getting excited when they roll over.

2017: "enemies are t-posing, how lazy"
2018: "the final boss is asserting dominance EL OH EL!"

Oh. Kao. K.O.

Hearing that the developers were really happy with 45,000 units sold... makes me smile.

2:42 "Especially on these damn penguins and their long-ass spikes that they stab you with."

Those aren't spikes. They're umbrellas, and striped ones at that... penguins wearing suits, top hats, and wielding weaponized umbrellas. It's all come full-circle. Oswald Cobblepot would be proud.

Dude I had no idea that this game is even known outside Poland! If you ask anyone my age (so early 20s) who's from Poland "Have you ever played "Kangurek Kao"" you will hear "yes" like 90% of times haha! This game is really highly regarded here in Poland but it's because of the nostalgia gogles. It's not a good game really. It's mediocre at best but hey, before The Witcher times polish game dev was really small and Kao the Kangaroo was made with a budget probably equal to what big companies spend on ads in the west in the late 90s so Id say most of the flaws are not the fault of being incompetent or lazy but rather low budget and time constrains. Either way great review as always, and Im looking forward to see what you think about the sequel.

That neck thing had me in stitches.

I will now forever hear L.A Noire's theme as i pick my nose.

Thanks James.

that kangaroo is the long last brother of the alola exeggutor

"Let's see what this kangaroo can do... woo."

Nice SuS joke. Didn't expect YTP humour in a video of yours.

Anyone here after they announced the remake??

“Adds this to revivals we didn’t expect”

Guess who’s back

Are you a kangaroo or a giraffe?
Kao while in the water: "Yes"

Crash is the only marsupial platformer for me!

A kangaroo that elongates his neck over the water...best quirk to any game I've ever seen since Skyrim having giants launch you in the sky.

Who else came here just cause a new game got announced and you had no idea this character existed...

Fun fact:
This game was published by Titus Interactive, who also both published AND developed such masterpieces as Superman 64 and Robocop for the Xbox!
When you see Titus's fox, you can only expect quality.
