I heard Tim Curry, then heard Christopher Lloyd, and my dear Sir Swanny my previously designated sleep hours are theirs and yours. RIP Tim Curry <3

My absolute favorite line comes from Woof, and I use it all the time.
"Don't get smart, son. Stay the way you are."

Love hearing about gems like this

I adore how this game looks.

Swanny here doing underrated classics justice, Toon Struck has so many good voice roles. I don't think a game this could be made in todays atmosphere with all the overly safe things studios do now

The human sticking out like a sore thumb works so well in this game! I think this might be one of the only fmv games where the human looking weirdly out of place works SO GOOD!

This game is AMAZING! the Act, the Art Style, THE PUZZLES, and just SUPER enjoyable! I have played it before and it is SO GOOD I love it so much. EVERYONE should play TOONSTRUCK it's creative and just a Blast. Great Video as always and I will see you Alone in the Dark Next time

Amazing first impression

1:18 I get you bro, Akira Toriyama died also in my 21st birthday

This was a pleasure to watch. I owe Tim Curry part of my nerditry as Legend as a young kiddo catapulted me into fantasy love. I'm glad you did this even if point and click adventures aren't my thing. Great video, as always!

Great work with this one, a real blast from the past for me. My ma got this game for my brothers and I in a garage sale.

You must have caught a wave on the algo too. Glad to see this one raking in some views.

I am so sad that I'm just now finding this creator. I'm glad I'm here now, I'm  look forward to what is to come and excited to catch up on the back log

This is good.  Good video.  Good use of the game, good use of memes, good knowledge of the all-star cast and a nice tribute to the amazing Tim Curry.  It's like the stuff I write and I write what I like.

I'm going to have to disagree with you about Christopher Lloyd's performance though.  In the scenes that aren't voiceover it is painfully obvious that he doesn't know what exactly is supposed to be going on in the green screen he's in front of and you can practically hear the director shouting what to do next even if it isn't audible.  Not to mention there are a few times where his acting and the interactions with the toons don't line up.  You say he didn't take the paycheck and sleep through this one, but I honestly get the impression he actually did a lot of the time.  I think he might've been better cast as one of the toons, actually.  I think he emotes better vocally than facially.  When animation gives his character better facial range we get Hacker from Cyberchase.

YESSS! I share your thoughts. I WAS old enough for this thing. Never quite got around to it.
Sat on it in my Steam wishlist for a good long while and finally bought it rock bottom, playing it for the first time a bit back.
Stoked to see the video!
Also, RIP Tim Curry.

This game is incredible its a travesty it never got the sequel to finish it up

Who hoo, a new intro!

Toonstruck is such a good game! It's wacky and sany, but so fitting to the theme. And having Christopher Lloyd take the leading role was fantastic! Of course props to all the voice actors too! I always wanted it when it came out, but had to wait a few years to finally play it. Now it's part of my 'annual Rotation' of adventures.

Deserves a remaster

Nice you cover some great games.  Love the point and click genre and videos. Always nice to see hidden/underrated gems. Thanks mike take care

I just realized, this and some 90s cartoons kinda made fun of the concept of babified cartoons. Cartoons that are super safe and basicly made for very very young children.
And while some modern show like Bluey proofed that nice shows for younger audience can still be good, there are sadly a lot of shows nowadays made that are super safe and don't really seem to respect the inteligent of younger viewers. Like damn, how many "Marvel for toddler" show has disney made so far? TMNT is getting on. And don't even get me started on coco melon and the whole brainrot thing.
Like I can enjoy cute and wholesome stuff, but everything has their extreme and I slowly start to understand why animators back then where so pissed at stuff like this. Heck Just look at the mlp generations between 1 and 4

Also while it has some flaws, this is still a fantastic game.
Fun fact: In the german dub, Lloyds Character shared a voice actor with shadowman from the first shadowman game. Like yeah, voice actors voicing extremly opposite characters is pretty common but I still find it kind of funny, hearing that voice in a dark horror game and a colorfull cartoon game XD

Also (spoiler) as much I love Tim Curry (yes, even as a german I know this legend), Fluffy is kinda the bigger villain here. Was such a great twist ^^;
