Just to clear up a bit of confusion, when I said people "hate it because it's Star Fox", I wasn't referring to not enjoying, or even disliking the game. I was referring to continuing to be angry at it all of these years later. Do you really HATE every game you didn't like? Do you still talk about every game you didn't care for 20 years later? That's what I'm talking about.

I totally understand if someone still wouldn't like it even if it were Dinosaur Planet, but people wouldn't talk about how much they still hate it all of these years later if it were a new IP. That's what I was getting at, I guess I should have been more clear on that.

You should’ve ended it with “it wasn’t a whimper either, it was more like a... stock fireball sound effect “

"Fox, my boy, my dood, I'm getting real sick of your rood attitood."
-Nitro Rad, 2019

Happy to inform anyone digging through this year old comment section of the fact that a rom of Dinosaur Planet has been found and released. It’s a bit later in development, but it’s mostly complete.

"a confused akward good bye" that really cut me to my soul. Rare and Nintendo's split was like seeing Mom and Dad get divorced after they seemed so compatible and so right for each other for so long. It was so strange when it happened.

Not gonna lie... I would like a starfox adventures 2. I know that Starfox is known for it's dogfights, but I honestly did like adventures more than the main series.

Hey! A bit of info about how the dinosaur language works:
It's basically just a cipher of English. It's all explained in the manual (which I no longer own), but basically you take normal English words and switch the letters to corresponding other letters and then you have Dinosaur words.
The "Enable Dinosaur Language" might just be taking the normal English subtitles and converting them using a program (I write code semi-professionally; it wouldn't be difficult).
Sorry for the long post, great video!

Oh god I have been waiting 16 years for F-Zero...

This was my first game on the Gamecube. The graphics blew me tf away. It still kinda looks good today.

Wait no longer, because the build was released today. Dinosaur Planet is finally playable.

Me, having never played a Star Fox game in my life: "Ooh, it's the 'Do a barrel roll!' bunny!"

Im surprised of how Krystal is thrown to the side in the story, for how much of a popular character she became in some circles. I always thought she had a bigger rol... But at the end it was just her assets

20:53 Tricky, no, you are literally on fire. Get your priorities straight, man.

Man, you had to bring up F-Zero.

I've accepted it's dead, but it still hurts

Star Fox adventures was so damn good and doesn't get enough credit for how gorgeous it was and how vast the game world was. I'm also not a fan of on-rails shooters, so I played the old star fox games growing up and didn't love them. I did enjoy Adventures so much though.

I love starfox adventures, seeing Krystal in ultimate as an assist trophy in her adventures outfit with the staff gave me an ounce of hope for more adventures somehow

Honestly, it saddens me that this game was rushed. I recall hearing something about the Scales battle a long time ago. Appearantly the Spellstones were supposed to save Krystal and the Krazoa Spirits the planets. So, the Scales battle would've been Fox and Krystal againts Scales, however that was sadly scrapped due to time reasons...

"I know what I want is still coming down the line..."
Chibi Robo fans: Am I a joke to you?

You hit the nail on the head, if it wasn't Starfox it wouldn't be hated.

Dude! A Dinosaur Planet ROM has just been discovered!! It looks GORGEOUS and I'd love to hear your opinion about the N64 version now that it's available to play!! 😍
