Thank you all very much for your patience with me on this project. This is probably the most I've worked on a single video. I'm not sure how many hundreds of hours went into making it. There are lots of little easter eggs I included in the editing, and often, I was working frame by frame to get everything looking exactly how I wanted it to (not typically what you'd do for a 2.5hr video lol). This was incredibly fun to make, and I learned so much from working on it that I plan to use going forward!

If you enjoy the video, please consider dropping a like and subscribing. As always, it is an honor to make videos for you all! :_CrowKaw:

That truly was the ultimate analysis. I don’t even know what to say because everything has been said. I’m so touched, and so happy, and feel so seen by the attention to detail that you’ve built this video around. Thank you so much for giving so many channels like mine a space on the internet to be bigger than themselves with videos like these. Your thoughts are so well put that I have a feeling they’ll be ringing in my head throughout the rest of my life.

Thank you so so much again for seeing my work worthy of such a beautiful and thoughtful series of videos ❤️

It speaks volumes that for all the violent and creepy imagery in Product's videos, David's reveal is by far THE most disturbing thing they've ever put in their videos

It was horrifying finally finding out that when Phebe was locked in the basement as punishment that she was locked down there with Alice’s corpse

??? is genuinely one of the most sickening Product video to me. Hearing the girls cry out about not wanting to be purple forever, not wanting to carry this burden that they never asked for. They were just kids. Why couldn't they just be kids, man?

I think the "falling down the stairs" thing is intentional, after all, "falling down the stairs" is a stock excuse for injuries from abuse

The idea of Creepy Man Boy being David makes him getting a match with Embryo even worse, especially with the chance that Tiffany was pregnant

You called Baldboy a cockroach. I think the real metaphor is that abusers (in general) are like cockroaches. You can never get rid of them all. You can only stop one infestation at a time.

I've interpreted Soleskiss' strange relationship with Bald Boy as a kind of resentfulness or even jealousy. Its pretty clear that both of these characters have been THROUGH it, but whereas Bald Boy's method of coping is a sort of mental regression to hide from the pain, Soleskiss coped by doing the exact opposite: forcing herself to grow up too quickly. And judging from her speech before the "haircut", she sees growing up (facing all the horrors head on) as an inevitability that Bald Boy will have to do. It's quite sad because, while i think this could be where all her negativity towards him stems from, i think she also has a soft spot for him because of that innocence, an innocence she can no longer escape to.

Something disturbing I’d like to add with ‘Creepy Manboy’ is the part where one of the ‘matched dates’ he had was of an embryo/fetus that wasn’t even born yet and I commented that it might’ve been Alice since it’s already established CMB is David (like, how sick are you to even think of your own unborn kid to be a potential loved. omfg). And then Product liked my comment… 😦

when you said you were sympathetic to bald boy or david as a child it reminds me what another youtuber says when she goes over criminal cases. you can be sympathetic to the child they were but not the adult they choose to become.

@Rotting_oranges 10 months ago

For me, the bald person next to the computer felt like the "consumer", the ones watching the tapes, buying them.

@Atrean214 10 months ago

I felt like such a dummy when you point out David's hair is still perfect as he decays and im like "What a weird oversight from the creator" and then you mentioned him being bald boy and it smacked me like a sack of potatoes

@t1d-otaku 10 months ago (edited)

You will never know the noise I made when Soleskiss started emoting on the dead turtle. I laughed so fucking hard it hurt. God I love absurdism.

I must add, I see a lot more in the Purple Girl video.
It's not just about abuse, but the cycle of it. Purple girl appears to be much older than the other girls, you can tell they look up to her like a maternal figure. She warns the girls of Blue Boy but when he's chasing them down, she does nothing to stop it. She is a mother who stood and watched as her children where abused. She cries only after seeing how distraught they are afterwards, at realizing they are now purple forever. Purple Girl could be haunting Mother, because Mother is just like Purple Girl. She only stopped the abuse once it was far, far too late.

@ryebreadthebread 10 months ago

I would also add that the “I can’t wash the purple off” could be a feeling of being unable to wash away the feeling of a sexual assaulter’s hands on your body no matter how hard you scrub (coming from a victim)

Product's videos is pretty much the manifestation of "art comfort the disturbed, and disturbs the comfortable". Taking a concept of any topic and elevates it to a whole other level...often disturbing, but disturbingly beautiful.

If bald boy is, in fact, David, perhaps his punishment is being beheaded over and over again because hell is repetition and that is his hell.

@OMEGA-362 10 months ago

I don't think David finds forgiveness so much as catharsis, he finds acceptance of judgment. He accepts that he has caused harm and accepts that he must live with the pain that the consequences bring him

@samanthadegroot7749 10 months ago

something else that proves David's true nature is 36:46, where you can clearly see that his belt is undone when he goes to talk to his daughter.

@crowbrained 10 months ago

If Alice is Purple Girl, then her touching Tiffany's cheek is very sad.. Tiffany was a woman betrayed by both Angela and David, and if she was pregnant, it was another life lost at the hands of them both as well, a half-sibling Alice would never have but also spared the abuse it would have faced by David
