David Bowie was an English singer-songwriter & actor. He constantly reinvented himself to stay current over nearly 5 decades. His first big hit was "Space Oddity" in 1969. He had a lot of great songs including "Ziggy Stardust", "Rebel Rebel", "Young Americans", "Changes", "Fame", "Golden Years", "Ashes To Ashes", "Under Pressure", Let's Dance", "Modern Love", "China Girl", "Heroes" etc. Sadly we lost him in 2016.

David Bowie is like 12 artists in one. Each Era of his is a new persona and a new sound. They are all amazing. I think he may actually have been "a man from mars," You have so much great music to discover in David Bowie. I'm kinda jealous ❤😂😉

Dude, Bowie is perhaps the most diverse musical genius of the past century.  Everything from folk to rock to metal to R&B to jazz to avante garde.... He's got SO much music for you to get into!

I’ve been sad when famous people died, but he was, and still is, the only one I have actually cried over🥺😢😭

You’ll hate yourself if you don’t listen to “Young Americans”. A truly awesome song!!!

When you get a chance, you should watch the video of Commander Chris Hadfield (astronaut) performing "Space Oddity" on an acoustic guitar inside the International Space Station.  Watching him and his guitar floating in a most unusual way out in space is one of the most surreal cinematic shots ever recorded, it's one of those things that is beautiful for just it's own existence. Thankfully David Bowie was able to see that version of the song performed out in space before he died, and Bowie absolutely loved it.  It has 53 million views on youtube.

Tell my wife I love her very much….she knows…
Saddest line in the whole song

"Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars" Is one of his best albums.
The last song on the album "Rock and Roll Suicide" is short simple yet, so powerful!

Bowie is the first white act to ever appear on Soul Train. He worked to promote black talent. He was a wonderful person who helped many over the years.

I wouldn't be surprised if you've heard the song "Under Pressure" before which features David Bowie and Freddie Mercury on vocals.  On a different note, Christmas was more than a month ago, but next Christmas make sure to check out the amazing video performance of David Bowie and Bing Crosby singing "Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy".   It will probably become one of your favorite Christmas songs of all time because it is so legendary.

I'm floating in the most peculiar way.

RIP David!

"Heroes" is a must!

Bowie is one of the greats

Bowie was the most innovative, game changer, rock icon of all time. Probably influenced more musicians ever. And stayed highly relevant for over four decades.

....As Major Tom floats off into space never to been seen or heard from again..R.I.P. Major Tom 🙏❤️

David Bowie is something beyond comprehension.  His catalog is like wandering through some kind of prolonged dream and he is such a fantastic storyteller.  He is epic in every way..  I envy you that you get to discover his work.  When he passed I had a breakdown in my kitchen. I literally howled.  It was like losing my incredibly hot older brother who introduced me to everything that mattered in my life.  I have met so many people that feel this way about Bowie.  Since Bowie died things haven't been right with the world...

Bowie... sheer brilliance. ❤💥💫🚀🌟🪐🔥⚡

Ashes to Ashes. A groundbreaking song for its time..
