The Amazing Digital Circus is over - but I'm not finished with it! Seeing as the show's tech was clearly made in the 90s, what would its cast look like with a PS1-era makeover?

Thanks to the exceptional ‪@KariMatles‬ for editing this video!

The 3D models were all made by the talented ‪@drawmechantako‬!
And YOU can get them for yourself right here: ko-fi.com/s/14e57030a6

Plus ‪@vergolophus‬ was kind enough to create some incredible illustrations for us!

And thanks again to the talented ‪@trott‬ for arranging and performing the cover at the end of the video!

They gave kinger a mouth now he may finally scream

The reason Japan never adopted the four-fingered cartoons is because its associated with the yakuza, since they’d cut off fingers as punishment

All designs are just beautiful but Kinger turned out the best, his eyes and smile make him look like he was taken straight from an old funny and goofy game

Casually made Jax’s fumble look more severe.

Your Pomni design feels like she’d pick up a collectible accompanied with a happy jingle as she does a small spin and a warm smile.

Kinger being so close to the 90s design makes sense, as he was one of the first people in the circus

Now the real question is what the uncanny high-quality models used for promo renders in magazines would have looked like

9:09 The 2D bubbles due to it being easier on the hardware to render them than a polygon pretending to be an orb is perfect.

Someone remaking an episode with this models would be BALLER

I remembered my mom saying to me that "kinger looked like earthworm jim just because of the eyes after her seeing the character" then you redesigned kinger of the earthworm jim fit him well.

AU where Caine didn't have access to the internet

6:42 I'd imagine he never even actually uses his mouth, like Jax he talks through his teeth, mainly cause he'd forget his model has such comically vertical chompers.

I think it's funny how every character had a complete remake of their designs, different proportions, 90's biases etc, then Zooble is still just Zooble with a different colour.

Honestly a 90s game where all the characters are meant to stand out from each other with different points of origin wouldve been very cool for the era, I think you captured them all very well!
